The 1925 home has been lovingly renovated and furnished. The house has beautiful hardwood floors, beamed ceilings and arched doorways retaining the romantic charm of old Florida while the new furnishings provide the comfort you want during your vacation. But a vacation doesn’t end with the house….a lovely heated pool, professionally landscaped fenced yard, and comfortable outdoor furniture create the perfect environment for your stay. The main house has 2 gracious bedrooms. The master has a king size bed and the guest room a queen - all mattresses are new. The separate guesthouse has a wonderful sleeping loft with another new queen mattress.
NOTE: The Guest House is NEVER rented to another tenant - it is always included in the main House Rental which means you Do Not share the pool or property.
In the main house, the large master suite has a freestanding tub, oversized glass shower and double sinks. The huge closet makes unpacking a breeze. There is a private terrace and a bonus feature - an enclosed outdoor shower. The second suite opens to both the pool area and a private deck for reading or sunning. The guesthouse has its own living area, kitchen and bath. The house is light and bright and so pleasant to relax in.
You’ll love being close to everything this fabulous town has to offer – much within walking distance. Walk 5 minutes down the tree lined streets and you are in Southside Village. There you can shop at the famous Morton’s Gourmet Market, have dinner at one of the many restaurants, and shop at the little boutiques. There is also the E’lan Skin Spa where you may pamper yourself. If you love coffee you will not want to miss Perq where the coffee is out of this world!
A 10 minute ride brings you to Siesta Key Beach - Voted the #1 Beach in America. Bring our beach chairs and towels and experience the amazingly quartz sands - unique because they are soft and cool. Stay later and enjoy magnificent sunsets. While you are there you can try the many fun restaurants and shops of Siesta Key.
And there’s so much more. Within walking distance you can: explore the beautiful Selby Botanical Gardens, famous for it’s Orchid display and scenic bay front location, (it is also a great place for kids to enjoy nature and the new rainforest garden’s kids area), go downtown where you will find many beautiful shops, galleries and restaurant, catch a movie at Historic Burns Court Cinema or see the latest Hollywood releases at Hollywood 21 movie theatre. Oh- and you won’t want to miss the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market where you can stock up on fabulous local produce and crafts while watching local artist perform.

Save room for dessert because you will want to taste Kilwin’s world famous ice cream and then take a stroll down the sugary white sandy beaches of Lido Key.
