A great space!

Three days spent at the Iron Works apartment capped off a wonderful 10 day stay in England. We couldn't have been happier with the apartment. It was just a fun space. It was an easy, pleasurable walk, along the canal, to the Stratford Tube station. On our last night, we ate, just around the corner, at Forman's Smokehouse Restaurant: a first rate meal in a beautiful setting overlooking the canal and Olympic Stadium (as in the apartment). Tom, the taxi driver, who brought us there and opened the apartment for us, was driver, tour guide and consierge all in one. If we have the opportunity to return to London, we know where to hang our hats.

Beautiful property located close to Central London!!

My son and I had the opportunity to stay at this property while visiting London for a week. The property is clean and very well maintained. My son and I especially loved the fun and quirky decor throughout the apartment (the Mini Cooper sofa and Street Sign were our personal favorites) and the floor to ceiling views of the canal down below and nearby Queen Elizabeth Stadium were beautiful. The property owner, John, was very quick to respond to my numerous questions and was extremely hospitable. John had also recommended Tom as a driver to pick us up from the airport. Tom was Amazing and if you have the opportunity to stay at this property, you definitely want Tom as your driver!! He took us to and picked us up from the airport giving us a ‘mini’ tour of London on our first day. We also wanted to spend a day in Oxford, England and Tom offered to drive us out there. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed his company and all of the stories of people he has met and experiences he has had while being a driver in England. I’m hoping to visit this beautiful country again with my husband and would definitely stay at this property again!! 😊?

Quirky and comfortable

This is a super place with everything you could need for a trip to London. We are a family of four, with two kids (4 and 5 years). The kids loved the car sofa and egg chair, so did the grown ups! The flat is brimming with quirky details which is right up our street. The location has lots of graffiti and street art in the surrounding streets which gives it a hipster vibe. 10/10 we'll be back!

Absolutely fantastic

My friends and I stayed here on the first stop of our European tour. I must say this place absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. Situated in a nice quite area with plenty of space for the boys and I. John was absolutely amazing, he was very quick with his responses and very helpful when we needed advice. Tom the property manager picked us up and I must say he was one of the funniest people I have ever met. Train station was very close as well as a beautiful park. My only advice was that you don't fly into gatwick because it was quite a distance from the airport to this apartment. Thanks again John and Tom! Cheers!!

Owner's Response: Over 100 5 star reviews across all websites I advertise on. First ever comment for "over-furnished"... apartment is as per photos. Yes I have added some small interesting, quirky & unique artifacts – read reviews – guests typically love them... I guess you can't please everybody. :-( 1x Broken chair back that I assume previous guest broke – because I've never noticed before... 1cm break in clear perspex so easy to miss. Mean review – losing a star due to this :-(
