Just a stone’s throw from the Royal Crescent and opposite one of the best gastro-pubs in the city: perfect for a romantic getaway, a family holiday or for small groups. We have on street parking available.
This is a spacious courtyard apartment in a beautiful Georgian property. Being on the lower ground floor, it is a little unusual in its layout and while we love the fact it is so quirky - please do take the time to check you would be comfortable staying here before you book!
As well as a comfortable living area with a 4-seater sofa and 2 armchairs, there is a dining table in the main hall that seats 6-8 people. The courtyard area has a bench and is great space for having a coffee outside.
The kitchen has a fridge freezer, electric oven and gas hob as well as a toaster and kettle. It also has basic supplies such as plates, cups, glasses and cutlery.
At the front of the apartment there is one double bedroom which overlooks the small courtyard garden. This bedroom is also next to the bathroom which has a small bath and shower.
At the rear of the apartment are two interconnecting vaulted rooms with a kingsize bed in one room and two singles in the other. The vaulted rooms do not have a door between them so we have listed them as one room - although we've always used them as two rooms. They would suit a family or guests who know each other fairly well. To be even clearer about the layout, we’ve enclosed a floorplan within the pictures of the apartment.
These rooms are built under the road and would have originally been the coal cellars for the entire house in the 1700s. We’ve lived here and slept in these rooms for nearly twenty years – however for some it might seem a bit strange to sleep in a room with curved walls so we feel we should point this out before you book!
