About the property

A beautiful flat within a short walk of Portobello Road and Royal Kensington Palace, the property occupies the first floor of a unique Victorian building on a quiet Kensington road. It is bright and airy, with high ceilings, two large sash windows and an original cornice. The property is in excellent condition, with a reception/dining room and open plan kitchen, a bright double bedroom, a compact bathroom with bath/shower, a separate toilet and gas fired central heating.

The flat is very close to three Underground stations; Notting Hill Gate, Queensway and Bayswater. There is also a bus stop at the end of the street which gives quick and direct access to London hotspots like; Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square

The immediate area has a large choice of quality restaurants, cosy pubs and lively bars. If you want to take a relaxing walk, the flat is across the road from Kensington Gardens and Royal Kensington Palace. Portobello Road is just around the corner...and there is even an ice rink and 10 pin bowling alley at the end of the street!

About Andrew

I run a small video production company in London, which was set up in 2003. I'm an editor by trade, but also enjoy dabbling in property development.

My wife, Isabelle, is a photographer and loves meeting people. She can also speak several different languages (including Dutch, French and Spanish), which proves very useful when we travel!

Location and wonderful Owner!

We loved our stay in Andrews flat. The location was absolutely perfect! The flat itself is complete, impeccably clean and very comfortable. Great shower!! Walking distance to so many places made our first trip to London a real pleasure. The owner was so helpful to work with, made us feel very welcome and gave great tips on where to go and how best to get there. I hope I get the opportunity to go back to London and would rent the flat again in a heartbeat. Thank you Andrew!

Super. Great modern flat, excellent location.

Andrew was responsive and helpful, even got the place ready an hour early for us. The large windows, high celilings, efficient design and modern fixtures make the stay extremely pleasant. Location excellent for anyone flying in and out of Heathrow. Kensington Gardens are lovely and so close. Great used record shop, etc. nearby. We loved our stay and hope to return!

Perfect pied a terre

Andrew's Notting Hill flat is perfect for a short or medium stay. The flat is ideally located: close to underground stations and minutes away from Kensington Park. Although the flat isn't large, the smart, uncluttered layout makes it comfortable for two people. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there's a combination washer/dryer. Andrew himself is a genial host; check-in was a breeze. We'll be back!

Fabulous apartment!

We had the most wonderful time at Andrew's apartment from the moment we were greeted by his friends on our arrival as he was away for a few days. We were shown how everything worked and where everything was kept. The apartment was spotless and lovely and bright. Moreover, we found it quiet and well located for transport and shops. Andrew provided a comprehensive listing of nearby supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. The apartment was fully equipped and easy for preparing meals. We would love to stay again some time. Can highly recommend.

Perfect little flat!

Everything we have to say about this flat is good. The flat is in a great location with pubs, restaurants and shops close by. It's also close to the tube and bus routes and Hyde Park if you prefer to walk.

The flat itself is clean, bright, modern and has everything you need for a perfect stay.

The booking was very easy and Andrew was always prompt in replying. He was there to welcome us and show us round the flat. He is a really nice enthusiastic and helpful person.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this flat and will hopefully be back ourselves one day.
