Renovated by a RIBA architect, this former coach house, within the former boundaries of the parish church of St Mary's the Virgin, which it served, is a unique piece of history. However, brought right up to modern standards, with a minimalist and contemporary Scandinavian style; its very "on trend"!

Enjoy the sleek lines, modern lighting and surfaces, mixed with hints of its English heritage style and architecture. A beautiful mix for any visitor to the city, its dual character will be very much appreciated. Boasting a large Kitchen with all modern conveniences - washing machine, microwave, integrated oven and gas cooker hobs, stainless steel surfaces and loads of cupboard space, filled with everything we can imagine you would need for your stay. Serviced boiler provides all your hot water and central heating requirements, instantly.

The spacious Living Room is not only relaxing and airy, but the large futon sofas also fold out into large double beds for an additional 4 guests, without compromising on the space or accessibility. With still lots of room for Dining and entertaining, whether watching television, a quiet read from the large selection of books or enjoying your music on the high end wifi music system provided.

The secure rear Garden is an extension of the Living Room space with uninterrupted access straight into the outside space. Ideal for extending the space on a warm summer's day, eating al fresco, enjoying a barbecue or just listening to the the birdsong from the nearby park.

Up the stairs to the two large Bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds, loads of extra blankets, bed and bath linens for the beautiful Bathroom. Large wardrobe for hanging or storing your clothes out of the way.

The Bathroom is spacious with both bath and shower options and all the amenities would could think of.

The upstairs sleeping area is peaceful and quiet, with lots of space for your luggage and personal items.

St Mary's Road is located a 10 minute walk from Plaistow Underground train station, in Zone 3 and is accessible both by train on the District line or bus. Both provide a fast reliable service into Central London with all the tourist attractions, or Stratford which sports Europe's largest shopping mall, casino, sports arena and facilities as well as London's largest and newest park, the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park. Central London, Zone 1, is 30 minutes by Underground train. Stratford, Zone 2, is 30 minutes by bus.

This is a quiet family friendly neighborhood, 2 minutes walk to the large open green of Plaistow Park, local shops and traditional pub, with ATM machine.

The house is perfect for a large family, group of friends or just a couple's get-away shopping, relaxing and enjoying all that London city has to offer.

When the opportunity came about to work on this property with a close friend and alumni, a renowned architect, I jumped at the chance to co-host this beautiful and dynamic space. Clean sleek lines from front to back door, stainless steel splashback and gloss black floor, these hard architectural features, soften by the plush furnishings and light airy atmosphere of this unique space. Set off the main road allows for the house's own free secure off street parking right to your front door, another unusual feature in London.

What makes this house unique

Its a home away from home and a place away from the noise and bustle of the city. Ideal for coming home to after a long journey or day out sightseeing or shopping. Two spacious bedrooms with double beds, under bed storage and wardrobes, as well as luggage rack to keep everything nice and tidy. Large family sized bathroom with bath and shower combo, elegant basin and toilet facilities occupy the 1st Floor. The two sofabeds on the Ground Floor convert to comfortable double beds, taking the capacity of the house to 8 guests.

Step free access from the street and a simple layout make this accommodation ideal for groups or families. With a large secure back garden, complete with barbeque, sun lounger, dining table and deck for the kids to run about in. There is a large park within eye shot in this friendly family oriented neighbourhood.

The 10 minute walk to Plaistow station connects you to Central London, the Excel or Stratford Centres. Within 15 minutes for the Westfield Shopping Centre, Olympic Park, football stadium, Docklands and all the main tourist attractions including Tower Bridge, St James' and Westminster Palaces, the museums, Kew Gardens and Wimbledon. To name a few!

The space is ideal for a group or family with full compliment of facilities and services you would expect in a modern home. No parties, events or gatherings. Music, gaming or any noise or activity that can be heard outside the property and disturb our neighbors. Please clear general refuse and rubbish to the Green lidded bin and recycling to the Orange lidded bin at the front of the house. Please confirm if car parking is required and state BOTH your check-in and check-out times so we can book in cleaners, etc.

Our family of four loved staying here during our three days in London! The kitchen was stocked with some basic breakfast items (bread, butter, milk, jam) which was a wonderful thing to have the morning after we arrived. We got a great night's sleep each night due to the quiet neighborhood. We had plenty of sheets and towels. The metro is a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, Nested, Comfortable

My first trip to London. The apartment was well cared for, clean, and supplied. The fixtures and utilities worked perfectly. Dustin was responsive and accommodating via WhatsApp. Wished this was my actual apartment in London, but unfortunately had to give it back. LoL

Nested well on a quiet road but near good transport. Bus lines, Plaistow rail station, and Stratford shopping center and shops within moderate distance.

My family of 4 adults stayed here July 7-13 and were extremely pleased. The bathroom and kitchen were meticulously clean and stocked with essentials. The 2 rooms upstairs have full sized beds, and the living room has 2 full sized futons...ideal for my family and all clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and responsive to my questions and requests, even while away on his own vacation at the time. He left fresh flowers and fruit, which I thought was a nice detail. Excellent trip, lovely home!

Living in Plaistow

St. Mary's road was well equipped apartment in a quiet neighborhood in Eastern London. Travelling by bus (25) from Stratford to Oxford Circus was a very interesting experience. Black Lion is the best pub in Plaistow. Fine holidays in London.
