Lovely 1 bedroom apartment located in the heart of Chelsea. The apartment is light, spacious and very airy and, being on the 2nd Floor (top floor), it is therefore also very private. There is only one other apartment (below mine) in the building. Excellent WiFi connection and landline telephone are provided.

My guests enjoy the best of both worlds here, being so close by the River Thames with The Physic Garden on one side of my home and The Royal Hospital Chelsea on the other. The hustle & bustle of Kings Road for great shops, bars and restaurants are only a few minutes stroll away.

Additionally, there are some wonderful local restaurants and pubs tucked away in the side streets close to my apartment.

London's best museums including The Natural History, The Science and The Victoria & Albert Museums are close by. If guests don't want to walk to them, excellent means of public transport are available.

My closest tube station is Sloane Square and, being in Zone 1 of the London Transport System, the fares are the lowest. Numerous buses are also a few minutes stroll away with one being less than a 2 minute walk away from me.

A Local Tesco store, open 7 days a week between 7 am to 11 pm, is only a minute from the apartment and there are larger supermarkets close by, including Marks & Spencer & Waitrose.

Most importantly, I pride myself on ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness for my guests and always ensure there is coffee, tea, milk etc here on their arrival.

I can also arrange cab meet & greet my guests from any airport via a company I have used for years. As a result, I am able to secure very competitive fares for my guests (almost 50% less than a normal taxi) with the added benefit of the driver carrying luggage into the apartment.

Really a home away from home

When I was researching a place to stay in Chelsea, I saw Eileen’s apartment. A king size bed and shower meant it met my 6’4” (1.96 meter) husband’s requirements. I saw a kitchen with a washer/dryer and dishwasher so I was happy too. I read the reviews and they were all five stars. This sounded too good to be true. I booked the apartment but I thought I bet it will only rate four stars in my review.

I am pleased to say that Eileen’s apartment rates five stars. It was perfect for our stay in London. The location is great. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Sloane Square tube station. There is a Tesco Express nearby for that emergency pint of milk. For a larger shop, a Marks and Spencer is a 10 minute walk away. Their 2 for £10 meal deal (with wine!) is ideal for eating in without the hassle of prepping a meal. If you did want to cook a meal from scratch, however, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need.

The best part of the apartment is the space. After three weeks of being cramped in small bedrooms, it was lovely to spread out. The bedroom has plenty of space to stash the suitcases in the wardrobe and put the clothes in the dresser. The bathroom has a tub and a separate shower cubicle that was large enough to fit the husband. There is enough counter space along with a shelving unit to store the toiletries. It was nice to relax in the sitting room and watch some TV after a long day of sightseeing and tennis.

The only niggle about the apartment is the noise from the traffic. We aren’t used to hearing traffic so it took us a couple of nights to get accustomed to it. For some people that won’t be an issue and It certainly wouldn’t dissuade us from staying here again.

I would highly recommend Eileen’s apartment. It is spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. Even though Eileen wasn’t able to meet us when we arrived, she phoned to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. I think the best compliment I can make about staying at Eileen’s is it felt like home.

I have to admit that the current roadworks in Kings Road means entails a traffic diversion down Royal Hospital Road. Wonderful flat - exceeds expectations!

Coming into this reservation our expectations were fairly high given the large number of positive reviews. I am very happy to say that the flat and Eileen's hospitality managed to exceed these expectations. From the initial greeting at the front door and throughout the entire stay, we thoroughly enjoyed this flat. We found the unit to be impeccably clean and a very comfortable place to have for an extended stay in London. If you are looking for a very comfortable, clean, spacious, centrally located flat with a very nice and easy to work with host - then this is your place. A huge bonus was how easy it was to walk to great pubs and sights, while being in a very nice neighborhood! Many thanks for offering up your flat and for helping us have such a wonderful time in London.

A very comfortable place to stay.

Everything about this apartment is comfortable. There are comfortable chairs, beds and facilities to make your London stay very enjoyable.It is within easy walking distance to the underground,there is a grocery store nearby,and the Thames is a very short walk away. The owner was very friendly and caring She gave us great advice about local attractions and organised transport for us when we most needed it.

Perfect Flat for our Family! Great location and Comfortable!

Finding this flat for our first vacation to London was like a dream come true. We absolutely loved staying in the flat. Eileen was a fabulous hostess and took care of all of our needs. She checked in on us while we were there and we felt very comfortable knowing that we had her as a contact while we were there. She answered all my planning questions and helped arranged ground transportation.

The space is fabulous! We felt like we were at home. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived...there was even Kit Kats in the fridge! The kitchen was terrific and we loved being able to have a place to make breakfast and keep snacks after all our adventures in the city. The bathroom was spacious and bright. There was plenty of storage for our clothes and suitcases (and all the treasures that we picked up during the days!) We loved having the washer and took advantage of having it. Having the Tesco at the corner was extremely helpful. The apartment is also extremely close to a bus stop and a short (and lovely!) walk to the Sloane Square tube station. We also were a short walk from many pubs and restaurants and fabulous shopping on Kings Road.

We truly hated to leave and are already looking forward to returning and renting the flat again from Eileen. It's a gem!

Perfect for us!

Eileen’s flat is in a beautiful neighborhood, with easy access to bus and tube stations. There is a small market just a block away and all sorts of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We felt quite at home there, and very welcomed by Eileen, who greeted us upon arrival. We had everything we needed, and put the amenities such as the washing machine and WiFi to good use! Eileen kept in touch before, during, and after our stay to ensure we were well taken care of and were having fun. Thank you Eileen!!

Fantastic property and fantastic host!

We loved the location and our stay at Eileen's beautiful Chelsea property. It was a perfect and quiet location for our family during our London vacation. Easy short walk to subway transportation. A little store on the corner just a few steps away made it easy to eat breakfast first before heading off for our adventures. Taking a short walk to the river in the evening to see the lights on the bridges - should be on everyone's list! Thank you Eileen!
