Superb!

  • 5 of 5

A superb apartment with everything we needed and more (including milk and a bottle of wine to welcome us), situated in the best position in terms of views and access to the beach and the town of Broadstairs. We spent so much time on the balcony watching the ever-changing scene below, and loved that we could be on the beach and yet be removed from the crowds that turned up to enjoy the hottest day of the year and the fireworks display! Waking up to a deserted beach that we had to ourselves was really special too. Broadstairs offers lots to see and do besides the sandy beach with its rock pools: buildings with links to Charles Dickens and Oliver Postgate, cliff walks, boutique shops and lots of places to eat out including Albarino- a Michelin guide mentioned tapas bar right opposite the apartment, and Morreli's- an amazing ice cream parlour just up the road. Canterbury is also within easy reach for a great day trip. We did our whole trip to Broadstairs (including our Canterbury excursion) by train so no problems with parking either. We will certainly be returning to this fantastic apartment.

Second time just as good as the first!

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from our second stay at Eagle House with our grandson and we've had the most brilliant time. Waking up to the view out to sea from the bed is wonderful. So much to see from the bay window and balcony - it's like a Where's Wally picture book scene during the day. And we had a bird's eye view of the fireworks on the beach one night. The apartment is spotlessly clean, comfortable and with everything you need for a carefree break. Having the beach so close is great and there is so much to do in Broadstairs - a real family bucket and spade holiday. Thanks Carole for another smashing stay.

Beautiful views. Helpful owners.

  • 5 of 5

We are just back from our second visit and really enjoyed the location and views. I’d had an injury prior to the stay and Carole was very accommodating and even moved some items around so that I’d be more comfortable. Thank you again.

Beautiful Broadstairs.

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Living room and bedroom overlook the beach. Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves lapping against the shore. Direct access to the beach from the garden gate. Well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

Beautiful flat beautiful view beautiful rest . Just sorry to leave

  • 5 of 5

Very well decorated in tasteful style tremendous views onto beach below and sea beyond.

Not that easy to find when dark but after realising we had to park 100 metres away ( £ 4.00 per 24 hours ) life became easy and car very safe where parked.

Broadstairs is a unique seaside resort, totally unspoilt by the ravages of time. It does not boast noisy amusement arcades but exudes a traditional friendly charm that exists throughout the year. Built directly above the sheltered Viking Bay with beautiful sandy beach and small harbour. Its all year round appeal is due to the near proximity of many wonderful beaches. The Viking Coastal Trail is perfect for cyclists and walkers alike plus many fabulous golf courses, one being the famous Royal St Georges at Sandwich which plays host to the British Open Championship.
