A bright, high quality, modern 110 square metre apartment

You will love a holiday in this beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in historic Lagos. The apartment has everything you need including WIFI, UKTV and DVD, air-conditioning, dishwasher, lift, underground car parking to keep your car cool during the hot days and a family friendly pool. You can relax on the spacious balcony, which is accessible from all rooms, while enjoying music from the all-room sound system. Security in the building is high with the main entrance door having a security code and the flat a video entry.

We find the apartment very handy for the unique shops and great bars, both traditional and trendy. Restaurants are a highlight of a holiday in Lagos as they are varied, plentiful and good value. You can easily walk to the bustling marina and sandy beaches while four fantastic golf courses are a short drive away.

While you will want to explore for yourself the maze of streets that constitute the old town we are happy to share our recommendations for food, drinks and day trips. The apartment has an extensive guide which includes information on nearby beaches, golf courses, cultural outings, Lagos Zoo and Aqualand as well as our views on restaurants we return to each year.

Notes:
The apartment has a very spacious, curved balcony that can be accessed from all main rooms. It has four sun loungers and a table with six chairs. Inside the apartment is an all-room sound system. Internal access underground parking is also available with dedicated access for tenants. We have appointed a Portuguese Management Company to look after the apartment, and to advise you on airport transfers, toy boxes, welcome packs and general information about collecting keys and Lagos.

Wonderful Apartment

This is a wonderful well laid out 1st floor apartment and only a short walk (15 minutes) for the old town of Lagos, marina and beautiful beaches.

The apartment is spacious and very well maintained with good quality bathrooms and a very well appointed kitchen.

The balcony area captures the early afternoon / evening sun and is ideal for dining and sunbathing.

There is a (discreet) reasonably sized supermarket (ALDI ) next to the apartment.

I very much look forward to returning to this apartment again soon.

Beautiful apartment in a pleasant area, walking distance to Lagos Marina and town

We are family of 4 (2 daughters 21 and 18) and stayed here for a week end of June. Very happy with everything! I have a long criteria of things to tick off when looking at holiday apartments and this one had it all. Very spacious, airy and immaculately clean. Well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher which allowed us to enjoy more of our holiday by not having to wash up. Very long and spacious balcony on which we spent most of our time. The apartment is on first floor of a very secure building. Everything clean and well maintained. Lift stops literally outside the apartment door but there was no noise from it at any point. Pool accessible from underground garage-very easy and quick to get to from apartment. Pool never busy, at most there were 10 people there but most times just a family or 2. Toilets by pool very convenient. Couldn’t fault anything! As for location-Aldi 2 min walk from apartment, Lidl 5 mins and another large supermarket just under 10mins. All very close. Town is 20 mins on foot, marina maybe 15, all very manageable for abled people. Weather was lovely-you need a cardigan in the evening and first thing in the morning-but that’s Portugal, always a breeze from the Atlantic.

I hope this review helps someone, I have gone into detail as I know what it’s like looking for the right place. One advice-if you are not hiring a car and need taxi from airport arrange via the agency-that’s €70 each way, taxi was €110!

Wonderful apartment in a good location

The pictures don't do the apartment justice!

All the rooms are large, clean and very tastefully furnished, with all the comforts of home. Spacious and bright kitchen with everything you could need. Huge living room with comfortable sofas and large screen tv with multi channels including sky sports. Two large and comfortable bedrooms with great air con was very welcome. There is a massive balcony which was a great place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast or lap up the afternoon sun on one of the six loungers that were available. The balcony also contains a dining table with 6 chairs which gives you some idea of the excellent outdoor space you have. You also have access to the good sized pool and sun loungers.

In terms of location you are right next door to an Aldi and within 400 metres of some really nice restaurants. A 10 or 15 minute walk takes you into the old town or over to the marina, with the delightful Meia Pria about another 15 minutes walk.

An excellent apartment that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Lagos. We will certainly return !!

Beautiful stylish apartment

The first floor apartment is even better than it looks in the photos. It is extremely spacious and very well furnished, with gorgeously comfortable beds, and beautiful fixtures, fittings and equipment. You can relax on the sun filled balcony or go down to the pool area. The secure underground parking is an additional bonus. There's wifi, air conditioning and uk tv, and Aldi next door, so everything you might want is available. It's a good walk down to Lagos Old Town, where you'll find dozens of lovely restaurants leading to a fabulous marina. We generally walked down and then got a taxi back for around 4 Euros. Out of high season the rental rates are extremely competitive, and you get a lot for your money. This part of the Algarve is beautiful with gorgeous beaches and coves within easy reach. All in all a great holiday.

Second Stay

Second stay and just as good as the first one in 2014. The apartment had not changed and continues to be a good choice in a quiet area, close to major supermarkets and a 20 min minute walk into Lagos or the marina. Car hire would be beneficial to visit the surrounding towns. First class service from Steve from the letting agency when the tv went down. We love staying in Lagos and can highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Excellent spacious apartment for our 2 week break

The apartment is spacious with a large living area and balcony overlooking the pool on the 1st floor. Two good size bedrooms one en-suite and the bathroom right next to the twin room, a good size kitchen all with access to the balcony. Nice and quiet at night but only a short 10 minutes walk to the historic town centre and marina. Aldi supermarket only 100 yards down the road with 3 others in close proximity. A very nice pool area accessed from the basement garage were the alloted parking is, we did not use this as we decided not to hire a car as there is an excellent taxi service which we used to travel to the local golf courses, this worked brilliantly. The apartment was clean and tidy a change of bed linen and replacement towels was provided after our first week. A good selection of TV channels including Sky Sports and BT sports. Alison and Scott answered any queries we had quickly and were lovely to deal with and a number for the local management company was provided if any problems were to come up during the stay. Lagos has a great selection of restaurants which can be very busy a nice one at the marina is Quay Lagos over the bridge but there are to many to mention. A visit to the grottos on one of the boat trips is recommended. This is a very nice property and we would not hesitate to use it again many thanks Alison and Scott.

If you have never been to Lagos before we thoroughly recommend it: the beaches are beautiful; the town centre is lively but safe; shops are varied; the restaurants are good quality and both quiet or lively bars are available. The flat is well situated to experience all Lagos has to offer while being away from it all in a residential neighbourhood.

Golf: There are three golf courses within easy reach: Boa Vista, Palmares and Parque da Floresta.
