Fish right from our dock or pier fish at the Cape Coral Yacht Club. If you are a beach Bum the Yacht Club offers a white sand beach and a pool just a few blocks away or head to Fort Meyers Beach and get in on one of the many activities like volley ball this is just one of the things that my kids like to do when we get a chance to come in from Minnesota.

Sea Shell Villas 3&4 House Rules 01. Smoking is not allowed inside the property this includes vaping and incense. Smoking is allowed outside only, please dispose cigarette butts properly. 02.People other than those in the Traveler’s party identified to the owner prior to check-in may not stay overnight in the property. No more than 6 adults and children may be on the premises at any one time, Day, or Night. Any person on the property is the sole responsibility of Traveler’s Parties, events, Etc of any nature are not allowed on the property at any time. 04. All the units are privately owned: Homeowners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities Traveler’s By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all Travelers are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. The Travelers have full responsibility for any issues arising use of the property and agree the Homeowner has no liability for any injuries, illness, death, etc. arising from use of the property. 05. Only use appliances for their intended uses. There is a risk associated with using certain items such as the BBQ grill. Do not move the BBQ grill from its location. A hose is within 20 feet of the grill location to be used in case of emergencies. 06. Pets are not allowed unless the Homeowner authorizes them. If authorized or not $18.00 per day 07. Check in/Check out: Check in is at 4:00pm day of arrival. Check out time is 10:00 am day of departure. This time frame allows us time to have the house completely cleaned and prepared between Traveler’s. Traveler’s agree not to arrive on property prior to check in time as guest will not be allowed access. Guest also agrees to have the property management check out process completed and vacate the premises by Check out time. Any deviation to the check in/check out time must be pre-approved by the Owner or is not allowed. In certain circumstances, such as if the property does not have an adjacent rental to your arrival or departure, the owner may allow an exception to the normal times, however it is their sole discretion and cannot be relied upon. 08. Parking: Parking is limited to driveway. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 09. Housekeeping/Babysitting: There is no daily housekeeping. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. If housekeeping is desired periodically throughout the stay, there are a number of local cleaning services which you can contract with directly. There is also babysitting services. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the property. There are a number of local babysitting services you can contract directly. If a guest chooses to contract with someone for these services, the contract is between you and the service, and the owner is not a party to/ or has no liability from any issues, disputes, damages, etc. arising from the contract. 10. Canal: There is a risk of injury and drowning around the canal areas, especially for children. Children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times when they have access to the canal, Homeowner is not responsible for any injury that occurs during the properties use. By accepting this reservation, you agree that all Travelers are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. The Travelers have full responsibility for any issues arising from use of the property and agree the homeowner has no liability for any injuries, illness, death, etc. arising from use of the property. 11. Utilities: Utility charges are included in the rate. However, Excessive use of the HVAC equipment may result in an additional charge to Traveler, and will be charged on Traveler’s credit card. The normal range for HVAC unit(s) are between 72F and 76F degrees. That will maintain a comfortable room temperature for the house. Do not turn the A/C below 72F or the heat above 76 degrees as this will cause the unit(s) to run very inefficient and result in an excessive power bill which may result in an additional utility charge to you. DO NOT run the AC unit with the doors and windows open. This will cause the unit(s) to run very inefficient and result in an excessive power bill which may result in an additional utility charge to you, The Property Management Company will make a note of the meter upon your arrival and upon your exit to determine is an abnormal or excessive amount of usage occurred during your stay. 13. Failure to Perform: The Owner reserves the right to cancel a Traveler’s reservation, prior to arrival for any reason by fully refunding any or all payments to the Traveler’s. This includes but not limited to force Majuro, Listing/Sale of property, Foreclosure, Double booking, Etc. 14. Owner Access: You agree that the owner and maintenance personnel hired by the owner (such as pest control, lawn service, repairmen and trash removal every Sunday and Monday etc.) may access the property at any time during your stay. If possible, Prior notice will be given, but as a courtesy only, and not required. 15. Cleanliness: There is a cleaning fee of $165.00-$175.00 for your stay this is specially for normal cleaning required after your stay to prepare the property for the next guest. This fee does not include any professional cleaning, if it was required resulting from your stay (such as professional removal of red wine spilled on the sofa). No housekeeping is provided during a Traveler’s stay. The Traveler’s is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the property during their entire use. Cleanliness should be always maintained and returned in the same condition the property was in upon arrival. Failure to maintain/return the cleanliness of the property at the same level as upon arrival or the need for professional cleaning arising from your stay will result in an additional cleaning charge, which may be deducted from your credit card on file. 16. Security Deposit and damages: You are responsible for all damages to the property arising during your stay. By signing this agreement, you agree that you will pay for all damages to the property that occurred during or because of your stay. we recommend you get insurance to cover property damage during your stay, for reasonable rates, through sites such as Homeaway, VRBO, etc. it is required you purchase it. 17. Eviction: Traveler’s agree and must abide by this agreement including the House rules and all applicable state/local laws and ordinances during your stay Any violations will result in your immediate eviction. Loss of all remaining rents, damage deposit and additional charges may incur. In the event of a violation, we reserve the right to cancel this rental agreement at any time. By signing this agreement, traveler agree to leave the premises immediately upon owner's notification of eviction to you in writing. 18. Storms: if there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: *A mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area and/or * The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning” area, we will refund if you can prove you evacuated as per the evacuation order: - Any unused portion of rent from a Traveler currently registered: -Any unused portion of rent from a Traveler that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted: and -Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the Hurricane Warning period.
Cancelled bookings will not receive a refund.
Could be better
Tv never kept a signal because it was on a antenna, no cable. The Wi-Fi would go on and off a few times a day. Gas grill didn’t get hot and there was mold around the soap holder in the master bath. No pots and pans too cook, not user friendly. Time for a complete upgrade including furniture. Pool on the other hand was great.
An absolutely perfect experience!
My husband and I stayed at this property during Easter week. We were visiting family who lived nearby. The property was clean. Anything and everything we needed - including beach towels - were provided. The beds and the bedding were so comfortable. The pool was clean. When we arrived we found instructions, information on local attractions, restaurants etc and contact information on the table. We had a question about the wi-fi and called the housekeeper, who answered immediately and was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
Yacht Club canal view duplex
Nice place to stay..comfortable king beds. Great location and good area with easy access to restaurants and beaches. We had no problem sharing the pool with the other guests. Had a plumbing issue the morning after we arrived, and both Kristian and Ken spent their Sunday there working to correct the issue. Service above and beyond. Would stay here again if in Ft Myers area.
This rental is completely misrepresented. I was only there for 90 minutes (enough time to find a hotel, during Spring Break!). I have been a VRBO customer for over 5 years and have never experienced anything like the following:
- This rental is a co-unit, it wasn't clearly stated in the description . You will be sharing the pool with another party. Unfortunately the party we were sharing the unit with had overtaken the shared area. There were beer bottles and cans left all around the pool. There were at least 6 adults and I have no idea how many kids crammed into the other unit. They were all sitting outside smoking and started screaming and cursing at my kids.
-The condition of the unit was VERY different from the pictures. Clearly the photos on VRBO we're taken several years ago. I wish I could post the pictures I have of what this unit actually looks like.
-The VRBO listing makes it seem there is a screened in porch area is available to both units, this is inaccurate. That screened in porch is only off of the other unit.
-The owners charged a large cleaning fee but the unit was very dirty
-I had to call 5 different phone numbers before I finally got a hold of the housekeeper who was zero help.
-In the hour and a half I was at the unit I was never able to find yet alone connect to the wifi.
-This unit is next to a major 4 lane road and the sounds from passing cars are a constant noise while sitting by the pool.
-The owner claims a property manager was sent to the address and knocked on our door to address our issues. There was no knock on our door and no property manager came or called for the miserable 90 minutes we spent in this home. The owner also stated the property manager checked on the renters of the other unit and they were within there rights of use and weren't violating any of their rental agreement. Of course they weren't smoking or drinking or cursing at my kids in front of the property manager.
- This place was in a horrible neighborhood and I was traveling by myself with my kids. I felt completely uncomfortable with not only the area, but also the tenants in the other unit.
- Lastly if none of the above has deterred you from renting this unit the sign above the toilets that says "Use the Trash Can Not the Toilet For...CONDOMS" should give you some idea what a "classy" place this is.

We stayed in this condo for Feb. & March 2019-
Starting with the positive: We found the condo to be very clean, well stocked, and the beds/bedding nice and comfortable. The location makes it an easy walk to many restaurants, bars/breweries, and the beach, with a short drive to shopping and the “big” beaches (Fort Myers & Sanibel) Also the Property Manager (Kristian) is extremely nice and was incredibly responsive to a couple of small issues we had.
We loved having the pool right outside our back door. I must admit we were a little apprehensive about staying in a “Duplex” and having to share the pool with the other unit. As it turns out we actually enjoyed meeting and chatting with the neighbors.
Just a couple of things are preventing a 5 star rating; first, the traffic noise at the pool was quite loud, (the unit is located on the corner of a 4 lane busy street) and the wi-fi at the pool was “spotty” at best.
Overall we had a good experience staying here.
Awesome home ,close to everything. Home clean and the owners were exceptional. The home was fully stocked with amenities etc , cant wait to go back

Cape Coral Has over 400 miles of canals, More than any other city in the world. Most of the canals are navigable and some like the one this property is on have access to the Gulf of Mexico.
