Great location for wine tasting and enjoying the area
This home is located in a nice neighborhood in Dundee and is walking distance to a wonderful cafe -- although the kitchen is fully equipped so you'll want to stay in for meals and enjoy a glass of wine on the patio which has a great view. I will definitely stay here again.
Comfortable Home for four
Comfortable home for four. Two queen size beds downstairs with shared shower and toilet. Master upstairs for couple is quite a bit warmer then rest of house. Comfortable upstairs patio with nice Mountain View. Close to Dundee .
Fantastic views, centrally located
The Dundee Dogwood House was exactly what our group was looking for as we spent a few days in Wine Country. It was centrally located to many of the wineries we visited. This house is actually even better for a family with kids as the Master bedroom is secluded and the remaining bedrooms are on another floor ... which means there is quiet! Our mornings included coffee on the balcony looking out over the hills. We saw hot air balloons every morning and occasionally had a deer come visit the yard. The kitchen/eating area isn't as open as you would think but the balcony off the back more than makes up for it. Our friends rented a house down the street and they weren't nearly as happy as we were with their place. Nice, clean and the owners are prompt with communication.
I rent homes every time I go on vacation. While I try to always find clean, updated and quality accommodations, what you see isn't always what you get! In this case, We got more!
Very nicely appointed home. Clean, updated, good location, quiet neighborhood and a short walk to downtown, wineries and market. There were many upgrades and nice touches they added that were appreciated: Coffee, fresh cream, cheese, crackers, shampoo, cream rinse, Q tips, make up toilettes, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap and more.
They greeted us at the home when we arrived and made some great recommendations on places to go, where to eat.
Very happy with our overall experience at this home. Would definitely rent it again.
Only suggestion would be to put a TV in the Master Suite.
Nice house in a great location
This house was perfect for our needs. We were 4 adults, so did not even come close to using all the available sleeping space: there are two bedrooms downstairs that share a jack-and-jill bath, plus a sort of bonus room that has a futon and a couch in it; and there's a master suite on the top floor with en suite shower and tub and a cubicle for the toilet. The middle floor has a spacious dining room, a cozy living room (with gas fireplace!), a large office/den with french doors, a breakfast nook, and a galley kitchen. The kitchen is super well equipped with dishes and cookware and utensils well beyond the basics, as well as coffee, tea, and microwave popcorn. Everything is clean and tidy. All the appliances are newer and work well.
The floor plan allows for both privacy when it's needed, and common areas when everyone wants to hang out together. The landscaping is neat and well tended.
Because the weather was so glorious, our favorite feature by far was the deck, with its views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. It's furnished with a large table with an umbrella and at least 6 chairs, plus a big gas grill.
The neighborhood is quiet and pretty, and super convenient for touring all the fabulous wineries and charming towns and wonderful restaurants the valley has to offer.
And finally, the management company was very responsive to our questions. I always received either an email, phone call or a text within ten or so minutes of my contacting them.
Honestly, I can;t think of a bad word to say about this place. I would happily rent it again.
Nice house with lots of space and great views from the decks
Light streams in in the morning and woke us up. Upstairs bedroom can be warm. Otherwise we were very happy with the house and the space
