About Andrea Zamparelli
Back in 2012 I gave up a boring job to pursue my lifelong dream of working in the tourism field. I am very lucky to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and I want to help as many people I can to visit the eternal city!
The Roman Tourism Tax (3.50€per night per person) is NOT included in the total and has to be paid in cash upon arrival. The final cleaning fee does not include a change of towels and sheets during the stay. Should you need one, we will be happy to provide you with a quote for the extra change. This is a self-catering apartment, initial toilet paper rolls, shampoo and soap are provided. Upon arrival at the apartment, we will show you the nearest supermarket for all your needs. Oil, salt and vinegar are not provided, but can be found in the apartment depending on the previous guests.
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date. 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
Spacious home away from home
Spacious apt close to Metro, cafes, grocery stores & Aura Mall. Secure building! Thought it would be closer to the Vatican though! We were greeted by Roseangela who was very informative & helpful! A “guide book” with some instructions & hints also proved helpful.
Wished the washer & dryer were in a common area vs one of the bedrooms & bathrooms! The tub/shower needs a curtain to keep water from going everywhere when using the shower! Plenty of dishes, pots & pans, & glassware! Beds were comfortable!
Needs a good clean and linen upgrade
Location was very good; however, cheap bedsheets and 1 bath towel per person were not adequate for a 2 week stay especially since we were told dryer was not working. Washed and used bleach on old bedsheets and towel and kitchen towel then had to air dry. Had to wash every dish and utensil before using. Kitchen counters, stove and sinks needed a good scrub before use. We paid a lot for a cleaning fee for use of this apartment but it was not clean when we arrived. All that said, if doors around handles were scrubbed and a good cleaning done and a coat of paint and better bed linens and more towels provided, it would be much more inviting. The arrangement of the I suite combo bathroom and washing machine room was not usable to bath in. The so called bathtub was very small, short, shallow and sloped enough to be unsafe. In addition, with no shower curtain, you couldn't use the hand held sprayer. The upholstered headboard in the master bedroom was filthy. Sofa was stained and dirty and was covered with a throw that was dirty and needed a good wash. I have pictures to document all this. Enough said. Not looking for fancy but am looking for clean and serviceable. Do not let pictures fool you...be advised.
Very nice apartment, but did not get what we were expecting and had some issues.
This says there are two bathroom, however, we could not fully utilize one of them. The toilet they said clogged easily and would cost "hundreds of euros to fix" so we were afraid to use it. The "tub" with the hot water turned on has such low water pressure that by the time it had enough water in it to do any good the water would have been at best luke warm. And as there was no shower curtain it could not be used as a shower. So we really only had one bathroom. We were not allowed to turn the heat up past 20 degrees C. While I am sure this would be fine for a lot of people, I am always cold, so spent most of the time in the apartment cold. We were only given one bath towel each for for than a weeks stay. The beds are very hard, again, am sure this is fine for some, but if you do not like a rock hard bed....
While this is NOT the property managers fault, it still has a bearing on the comfort of the apartment. There is, what I can assume, is a VERY large dog living in the building next door, and it LOVED to bark. It barked morning, noon, and night. One night, when we were attempting to sleep, it barked, without break or pause for almost an hour. It kept me from getting to sleep many nights and woke me up many mornings.
The managers were very nice, and always responded to questions quickly and was very easy to travel the city by Metro, but I could not recommend this apartment to others.
Thank you for your review but we must admit we are puzzled regarding it. We do value very much any kind of constructive feedback, as this helps us improve the service we offer to our beloved guests, but we do wish you had told us all of these issues during your stay.
We did, in fact, talk during your stay, and if you had told us back then, we could have immediately intervened to solve all the problems you wrote!
It is true that the toilet in the second bedroom is fragile (it has an electric flushing system) and it would cost a lot to replace, but we never told you that you don't have to use it! In fact, all the previous guests have used it without any problem! We only asked you to not throw in it pads, paper, or cotton pads but rather to use the garbage for those items.
Regarding the tub, if you had told us about the low pressure, we would have come immediately to check and fix the problem (basically replacing the terminal part of the faucet).
Regarding the heating, unfortunately, by law, it is not allowed turn on the heating above 20° in March in Rome but again, if you had told us before, we would have been very happy to bring you a stove or try and find a solution with the heating system.
As for your feedback about the beds, we believe this matter is very personal because many people told that the bed was comfortable...and we think that your comment "like a rock hard" is over-exaggerated.
Instead, regarding the inconvenience with the dog living in the building next door, as you said, it is not our fault but we could have called the condo administrator of the building, or even the neighbors.
We were very sad to hear about all of this because these were all issues that could have been easily solved in order to let you enjoy a beautiful and relaxing week in Rome.
As you said, we are always available for any kind of issues, and reading such a bad review feels unjust compared to all the efforts we put in our daily work lives.
We wish you all the best,
This apartment was wonderful. It was extremely large and well maintained. It very convenient to the Metro. The owner was quick to respond to my messages, coordinated well with us, and had someone waiting for us at the flat when we arrived to give us the tour. There was a grocery store right across the street, so, extremely convenient! I still cannot get over the size of this place and the location. Highly recommend.

Great Space, Great Location!
We were so pleased when we arrived in Rome! The flat was convenient to the Metro (which we took from Rome Termini) and there were lots of grocery shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The flat was clean, beautiful and had everything we could imagine we would need! In addition, the staff (both Andrea and Viviana) were wonderful! Viviana met us at the flat and showed us around AND gave us some information about the sights to see in Rome. It was a wonderful holiday! Thank you so much for a great stay! We loved it!

Spacious and bright apartment
My husband and I enjoyed staying in this bright, comfortable flat. It's much bigger than we realized and very nicely furnished. The building was very quiet. The location--west of the Vatican--is away from most of the normal tourist destinations, though you could probably walk to the Vatican in about a half an hour. But the flat is only a block from the Metro, so it was really very convenient, and easy to reach any destination we desired. The neighborhood is lively, with lots of little shops and restaurants. We would certainly stay here again!
