Great cottage in a beautiful spot
We needed somewhere for the family to stay while we visited family and the cottage was perfect. The panoramic views are really lovely and the cottage is beautifully presented. We were welcomed with a hamper of some essentials which was a lovely touch. The cottage is well equipped although there's no wifi (which may be a good thing!). Overall we had a great stay for a very reasonable price.

Summer vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely. Amanda left us lots of info about the activities in the surrounding area. She checked in to make sure our stay was going well. Our family enjoyed all the natural beauty in Sligo. We would stay here again when in the area. Thank you!

Excellent holiday!
This bungalow is so delightful. We loved our holiday here. The owners, Amanda and Philip, were so friendly and helpful. The bungalow is clean, the views are beautiful. Beds were comfortable also. The welcome basket was a nice surprise also. The scenery in this part of County Sligo is breath taking. The bungalow is so well stocked, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. More than deserving of five stars!

About the host

We live in the farmhouse nearby the rental house. We have 3 children. The photo above shows a favourite pastime of the children and friends......pier jumping at Aughris.

Why they chose this property

So much to see and do nearby. If you are interested in sheep, there are lots of sheep to be seen on the farm. Sligo is a surprising county.
Our property gives a wonderful panoramic view of the best of what Sligo has to offer.... mountains, beaches and fields of sheep.

What makes this property unique

The scenery is beautiful. Very peaceful, rural site for a holiday to "get away" from the hustle of life but within easy driving distance if activities and shops are desired.
