Barn and annexe with extensive gardens in beautiful location yet convenient for bars and restaurants in Wadebridge and close to North Cornwall beaches of Rock and Polzeath and character villages Padstow and Port Isaac. Converted in the late 1990's, An Skyber is a three bedroom barn conversion located within walking distance to Wadebridge town centre. The accommodation within is reverse level with the entrance hallway at ground floor level providing access to all 3 bedrooms(master en suite), the family bathroom and utility room. Upstairs there is a spacious dining room which opens out to kitchen. The sitting room has patio doors leading out onto an outside terrace. Externally the gardens and grounds lie principally to the southern side of the property and are mainly laid to lawn. Within the grounds is a detached two bedroom annexe which comprises of an open plan sitting / kitchen / dining area with ground floor shower room and two first floor bedrooms. The town centre is a mere five minutes walk away. It can also be accessed via the more scenic route through the neighbouring Coronation Park and Woods. Only a further five minutes walk beyond Dunveth Farm is the hamlet of St Breock with its beautiful church set in a quiet wooded valley. Within just a few miles of the property are a wide selection of some of the very best sandy beaches that north Cornwall has to offer, including Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Porthilly and the water sports resort of Rock. For the golfing enthusiast there are several very good courses within north Cornwall with the renowned courses of St. Enodoc and Trevose on opposite sides of the Camel Estuary. Walkers can enjoy the benefits of the nearby South West Coastal Path which provides miles of wonderful bracing walks and the Camel Trail, which is also excellent for cyclists, and of course the highly regarded Camel Valley vineyard. Nearby the quaint fishing town of Padstow offers a large number of good pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein\'s Seafood Restaurant. To the south-west lies Newquay airport providing regular flights to London Gatwick

We found the property well situated with lovely grounds.
It was the first time that we’d all gone away together. Both properties were lovely and clean. The only downside was the double bed was apparently too short and not very comfortable. My son in law is 5ft 10 so not that tall and his feet were off the bed. We would highly recommend anyone to stay there and we may possibly return ourselves in the future. Thank you Mark. Kind regards. June wallis and family.
Excellent holiday property with good accommodation and extremely well equipped facilities.
Excellent location, very comfortable and well equipped. Easily handled our party of 10. Only minor problem was doors were some what sticky to operate. Great for cooking and entertaining and all around a comfortable attractive place to stay in a lovely part of Cornwall with easy access to beaches and attractions . Roads and lanes can be a challenge!
Lovely place with plenty of room
Stayed for four nights with 8 of us, the barn and annexe is fantastic, loads of space and very well decorated, space for two cars on the drive, we had great communication with the owner and he responded very quickly to any questions
There is everything you need there and more, slightly unusual that the house is upside down with bedrooms on the ground floor but you soon get used to it, I was so looking forward to getting the log burner on only to find the heating kept the place lovely and warm, sky package in both barn and annexe so everyone kept entertained if needed, kitchen was well equipped and would easily be able to use if you wanted to eat in, garden was great and looked fantastic on different levels, kids enjoyed the freedom of the place, even the dog was safe
The location is at the top of Wadebridge with some lovely views when the mist rises, a short walk into town to some lovely pubs and cafe’s but be prepared a steep climb back up, the park is not very far and seemed to have an easier route to the town but in October was slightly to muddy for us to attempt, Wadebridge is a great location to discover the local area and so much to do
Would defiantly recommend and love to return in the warmer months to get more use of the garden and local beaches!!!
We stayed in both the farmhouse and the annexe whilst visiting family in Wadebridge. The experience leading up to the booking was great, Mark the owner very helpful and speedy in his response.
The location is fantastic, only a 5 minute walk into town yet you get the "away from it all" feeling. The gardens are superb and there is a lot of space for everyone. The farmhouse has everything you need, we had plenty of room for family to come over for dinner several times. Beautiful décor, huge sofa and very useful utility room. A really comfortable and very well catered for holiday home. The annex is basic and lacks Wi-Fi, storage and home comforts. Considering the rentals are a recent venture, the owners really have done an excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or re-visit as the whole package gave me and my family a complete break and beautiful surroundings so thank you!
Large Modern and Clean
Fantastic family property with lots of space for teenagers to stretch their legs.
Great Location and super comfortable
Great property - two families stayed over Easter break. Beautiful big garden great for kids to play when parents needed downtime from all the local activity. Walking distance to Camel Trail and cycling to Padstow for Fudge and Ice Cream!
Local shops and pubs all a short walk - even a cinema for the odd rainy day. 20 mins to Retallick Aqua Park, and short drive to Tintagel/ and Doc Martins Port Issac. Lusty Glaze beach only 25 mins and offers usual beach activity plus jet ski/ abseiling and high wire activities. Just so much to do.
Property clean and well serviced and (local) neighbours friendly and useful for local travel tips! Will revisit next time we head to Cornwall!!
