I chose this property because it is close to everything I want to do while in Scottsdale. I like to hike, golf, and visit Old Town for the many restaurants and galleries. I also love the desert landscape (when it's not too hot!) and enjoy day trips to the surrounding areas, especially Sedona. I also like to eat-in sometimes and there are three grocery stores within 2 miles including Safeway, TraderJoes and Aj's (local chain with high-end meats and deli).
What makes this Townhouse unique
This property is part of a small complex of single and two-story townhomes. Unlike many other rentals that are part of a large condo complex, this one will feel more like a private home with its own garage and private patios. The home is located on a quiet street that is used only by residents.
Rental requires signed agreement and scan of photo ID to be provided within 24 hours of booking. Guests are responsible for being aware of and following HOA rules. These rules involve the use of common areas such as the streets and community pool and will be provided with the rental agreement.
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
We ended up picking the location due to my brother living near by but the other attraction was the 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms so each of us would have our own space. It was very peaceful neighborhood with a beautiful back patio that we took advantage of most days. We also used the gas grill 3 times. It had a homey feel and the owner was very accommodating. We will definitely return if it's available.
Great Scottsdale Townhouse
Nice place in a cute, quiet little neighborhood that is away from busy streets but close to the shopping, restaurants and golf in Scottsdale. The property is a hard to find vacation unit with a 2 car garage and full sized washer/dryer. The three beds and full baths (one bed/bath upstairs) provide three nicely separated areas and the furnishings are well maintained and comfortable. The cable and internet worked as advertised and there are patios in the front and back to enjoy the evenings. The gas BBQ and bicycles were in good order and made for a nice stay.
The property is close to the Scottsdale hiking/biking trail system and local parks, and there is a Safeway right up the street for groceries. The kitchen is well equipped for meal preparation and the stove and refrigerator worked fine. The unit has 2 AC units and keeping it at a comfortable temperature was no problem.
All in all, a great, well run place that we would stay at again!
