Spacious and modern self catering 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment with large roof terrace in the small coastal fishing village of El Cotilllo, Fuerteventura. Part of a small development of only 36 apartments, located right on the beach with its own gardens and breathtaking views of the lagoon beaches and the Atlantic Ocean. This complex has a large (250sqm approx) swimming pool (not heated) for use by residents only, and is ideal for children as it is not too deep. There are adjacent toilets and showers. For very young children there is a separate shallow pool. Surrounding the pool is a large sunbathing area with supplied sun loungers and attractive gardens with a gate leading directly onto the beach.

Clean, bright, spacious, well equipped, but noisy.

Overall the holiday was spoilt by sleep disruption owing to the bedrooms being situated directly above a popular bakery/cafe and shops. We know el Cotillo well but were unaware before booking that this would be the case. The baker arrived at 4am every day and noise, cooking heat & smells followed by cafe furniture laying out made sleeping difficult from 4am thru to 9am. It was impossible to leave the Windows open owing to strong cooking smells and noise. Despite using earplugs in both ears EVERY night this rendered my husband and I very tired most days. The cafe & shops below these particular apartments are very busy, noisy and popular. Therefore we would not stay at Marfolin again despite the appeal of the actual apartments themselves. This information should be given to all enquiring holiday makers to allow proper booking decisions to be made.
