The Villa is a lovely, large family house where we enjoyed 2 very relaxing weeks in July. The house has everything you need, and so much space for different age groups. We visited initially with my older parents who benefited from the master bedroom on the main floor, whilst we stayed in the bedroom and office space downstairs. My teenage son took the separate annex to give him some space but moved back into the main house once Grandparents had left. The house is very well equipped, and has a lovely, family feel to it.
We enjoyed some long, lazy days by the lovely pool with full sun morning til evening. When we visited the humidity was exceptionally high, so the air-con in the main area and the master bedroom were a god send! We’d enjoy a cold drink on the terrace and cook on the BBQ, then head inside later to enjoy the cooler air inside.
I’d say a car is pretty much essential for enjoying the area, as the house is located in a quiet spot away from town, but close to supermarkets etc. I’m sure in milder temperatures the walks would be lovely, but in late July we were melting standing still! Taxis don’t serve the area well, so evenings out had to be coordinated, however the car gave us ample opportunity to explore the lovely coastal areas off the beaten track. I’d also recommend hiring a boat for the day from Moraira port to enjoy the scenic coastline and enjoy some lovely swimming.
