A relaxing week in a comfortable villa
We chose this villa for the space it would give us with three teens in tow. Everyone had their own bedroom and the two lounges worked well for people to spread out. The pool was great and the views from the terrace were wonderful. It was a shame there were no restaurants in walking distance. We did walk down the hill once and coming back was certainly hard going in the heat, but as with most private villas, you need a car to get around. Moraira had a great atmosphere in the evenings with plenty of restaurants, relaxed bars and an amazing ice cream parlour. We enjoyed visiting Javea to do a snorkelling trip and the market at Altea. Overall our stay was everything we wanted in a comfortable villa. The aircon in the lounge was a great bonus too.

Lovely villa for the whole family
The Villa is a lovely, large family house where we enjoyed 2 very relaxing weeks in July. The house has everything you need, and so much space for different age groups. We visited initially with my older parents who benefited from the master bedroom on the main floor, whilst we stayed in the bedroom and office space downstairs. My teenage son took the separate annex to give him some space but moved back into the main house once Grandparents had left. The house is very well equipped, and has a lovely, family feel to it. We enjoyed some long, lazy days by the lovely pool with full sun morning til evening. When we visited the humidity was exceptionally high, so the air-con in the main area and the master bedroom were a god send! We’d enjoy a cold drink on the terrace and cook on the BBQ, then head inside later to enjoy the cooler air inside. I’d say a car is pretty much essential for enjoying the area, as the house is located in a quiet spot away from town, but close to supermarkets etc. I’m sure in milder temperatures the walks would be lovely, but in late July we were melting standing still! Taxis don’t serve the area well, so evenings out had to be coordinated, however the car gave us ample opportunity to explore the lovely coastal areas off the beaten track. I’d also recommend hiring a boat for the day from Moraira port to enjoy the scenic coastline and enjoy some lovely swimming.

WONDERFUL RELAXING HOLIDAY
Had an amazing ten days enjoying the stunning views and the lovely pool. 5 of us (inc. 3 teenagers) all enjoyed eating outside and having a drink in the evenings on the terrace. Plenty of space in the villa and well-equipped with everything we needed. It's a very quiet area and we all felt as if we'd have a lovely rest. Any issues were very quickly dealt with by Diana or Jane who got back to me asap. Supermercado Supermarket just down the road (a few mins) and a Lidl and Carrefour on the road to Teulada (another 2 mins away). Would recommend:- Beaches: If you need shade and sunbeds - Moraira beach (Platja ampolla). The water is lovely and calm. The sunbed and umbrella hire is a bit pricy though - 42 euros for 4. There is also a very handy gelato shop just across the road! We did venture further afield but it seems a lot of the beaches don't seem to have sunbeds and umbrellas to hire - a better option might be to go to Carrefour or JYSK (in the same row of shops as Lidl) and buy a couple of beach umbrellas (about 6 euros each). This would enable you to visit any number of beautiful beaches in the area. Oliva has some nice beaches too. El Portet is very sweet but quite small. Restaurants: Lots of lovely restaurants in Moraira town. Would particularly recommend Club Nautico - the steak is very good and the bar upstairs is a good spot for cocktails. Sand Restaurant and El Cafeti de la Mar which is a bit more casual but the food was amazing. Casa Oller has an Ibizan vibe although we only had drinks there later on in the evening and Eleven bar next door is lovely for pre-dinner drinks.

Wow those views and sunsets
The property is located with what can only be described as amazing, the sunsets are too die for, so get those G&T’s ready as you will savour them.. We walked every morning down into El Portet and Moraira (40 mins) and then further afield, it is a steep walk back but a very enjoyable one, hence the reason we did it every morning. It is in a very peaceful location so during the day whilst I was working and my wife relaxing it is simply sublime, with that only a 40 minute walk into town or a 10 min taxi or drive. The booking process and then the help we received in getting local taxi contact numbers etc was just so helpful. We would definitely recommend this property.

A relaxing stay
We spent three relaxing weeks at villa Esperanza. Very pleasant stay, a calm neighborhood, a breathtaking view, and a very nice swimming pool. The villa is well furnished and big, one floor was enough for the four of us (there are two floors + one apartment!) I definitely recommend it!
