Chris and Vicki have lived in the village for the last 18 years and have run the farm all that time. The alpacas arrived in 2000 and are an integral part of the farm as a business. We have approximately 100 alpacas and 4 llamas on the farm all of whom are halter trained and we also offer alpaca walking as an optional extra.
Vicki and Chris Agar purchased this Cottage in 1997

A wonderful place for a holiday
A well equipped, modern accommodation, in a great location to get away from it all whilst not being to far from places to visit. The adorable alpacas being another plus.
Fantastic holiday, beautiful setting, great hosts, clean modern, spacious property, plenty to do in the area especially if your National Trust members 👍loved it loved it loved it highly recommended wished we had booked 2 weeks sad to leave No problem it being a working farm - Beautiful interesting animals - best last minute holiday decision ever 😘😘
Thank you so much for the lovely review - You could always come back!
Best wishes, Chris and Vicki
Didn't want to leave!
Just experienced a lovely week at Spring Farm Alpacas, we didn't want to go home! Vicki, Chris, their staff and volunteers were all so friendly and always willing to answer questions. Above all Vicki and Chris's love for these beautiful animals shone through and they were happy to share them with us. To get to see two crias born during our stay has made for unforgettable memories! The accommodation itself was very comfortable in a tranquil setting abundant with wildlife. We thoroughly recommend and will definitely return.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 14 days - quite splendid! would greatly recommend a relaxing holiday
We needed a peaceful break and it was all of that and more. The beauty of Spring Farm - the alpacas - llamas - relative silence which enhanced the stillness of the local countryside was so good that it provided all that we expected.

Relaxing & Entertaining
A lovely holiday home in beautiful surroundings, very comfortable, well equipped & spotlessly clean. Decorated & furnished to a high standard. Vicki & Chris were very friendly & accommodating, but the Alpacas were definitely the highlight of our stay. We could have sat and watched them all day, very cute and full of character. The property is very well placed for exploring the surrounding towns, villages and places of interest. Would we stay again? Most definitely. A holiday we will remember with smiles on our faces for a long time to come.
Its so kind of you to take the time to review us and so glad you enjoyed your time with us. Hope to see you again in the future. Best wishes, Chris and Vicki.
