About David A Hirst
I am now retired and bought two small properties to rent out and as a retirement project. I have enjoyed working on this property and I may live there myself one day! I have lived in the area for 20 years and it was always an ambition to live near York it is such an amazing place. I love the history particularly as its possible to go back 2000 years.
David A Hirst purchased this House in 2013
Why David A Hirst chose York
I always wanted a property in this particular area as it is attractive and I knew it would get more popular. It has the best of both worlds in that it has its own community and shops but is close to the Centre of York and all its attractions.
What makes this House unique
It is a great place to be and has a wonderful community yet it is within easy walking distance of the Centre and historical sites. The only problem is that the food at the Pig & Pastry Cafe is so good its difficult to stay away! I buy something every time I visit to clean the house!. Just to stay in this area is a unique experience and will be enjoyable as well as an excellent base for visiting York and surrounding area.

My college roommate and I enjoyed our short stay in this lovely upside down house. We walked to it from the train station when we arrived, and used it as a base for our walking exploration of York. There were several restaurants and shops nearby, and we would highly recommend it.
Good property in an excellent area in easy access to the train station and city.
