The cottage is set in a peaceful crofting village and has excellent views of the nearby loch and mountains.
The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and one bedroom has twin beds. The cottage is well-equipped with a full size cooker, microwave, fridge and toaster.
The living room has excellent sea views and the cottage has its own private parking outside. There is access to the shore.

This cottage is clean and has all the amenities to live comfortably while being secluded and nestled into a beautiful setting. The beds are comfortable and clean. The bathroom has a large tub for a comfy soak and a shower if you prefer. A nice kitchen with a clothes washer and a view out the living room window that is picture perfect. If you're looking for sheep, they are usually in the field just out the front door. The owner, Betty, is friendly and available if you need her. I highly recommend this cottage on Skye.

We made a fantastic choice! The cottage is basic and could perhaps have some more modern furniture/bedding covers and could benefit from some central heating(!) but this does actually all add to the charm of this beautifully located cottage. Amazing views of the Lough and the local farms, and a lovely host in Betty who will warmly greet you with a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit, no matter what time you arrive!!
We will most certainly be returning in the near future and I would recommend to anyone looking for a secluded self catering cottage on the Isle of Skye!!
My wife and I spent a very relaxing week in the Isle of Skye. Stunning views and we really enjoyed seeing the lambs playing in the field beside the house. A very warm welcome with tea and biscuits from Betty. Cottage was clean and well equipped.
My family and I enjoyed a rElaxing week here looking over the lovely loch Snizort. Very lovely and peaceful location. We received a warm welcome and a lovely cup of tea from Betty. A very clean and comfortable stay. The chalet is ideal for family.
Coast/Beach:
There is access to the shore through the croft - a five minute walk.
Travel:
The cottage is 7 miles from Portree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye. It is 3 hours from the nearest airport in Inverness.
