Why Susanne Mason chose Trunch
We love North Norfolk because of its beautiful landscape and nature, the seaside, the charming villages and market towns, the peaceful lifestyle. At the same time, Trunch is a very active, lively village, and most people are very friendly, helpful and laid back in our area. Public transport is very good - trains and buses running at regular intervals to Norwich and London.
What makes this Cottage unique
Pumphouse Cottage enjoys a very tranquil, peaceful setting on the edge of the village, with just open fields around. At the same time, the village shop and pub can be reached within a 5 minutes walk. And the nearest beach is just a 5 minutes drive away. Our guests praise the cottage for its cosiness and comfort. They say it is far more spacious than it might seem online.

A beautiful quiet cottage. Lovely and friendly owners. We felt at home instantly. Thank you for a lovely week, wish it had been longer.
Thank you, Denise, for your lovely review of Pumphouse cottage. It was very nice meeting both of you, and we're glad you had a pleasant stay.
Quiet and peaceful
The cottage is lovely and relaxing with a lovely surrounding garden, perfect when the sunshine is out to sit and enjoy the peaceful day. Everyone locally is friendly and helpful.
Hi Martina, thank you so much for your nice review! It was lovely to meet you all and we are thrilled that you loved your stay. Hope to see you again before too long.
Beautiful Cottage and garden ideal quiet position
Lovely cottage with everything you need. Added bonus of a beautiful garden to relax in. Especially nice to have a private area, not having to share the garden with the owners. We enjoyed having breakfast in the garden and watching the sun go down with a glass of wine in the evenings. Susannah and her husband are lovely people, making sure we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. On hand to give us lots of information about the area. The property is placed in a ideal quiet location, only a short drive from the coast and easy access to Norfolk and the Broads. We explored a lot of the area, which is a must for any bird and wildlife lovers. There was nothing we could fault about this property and would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Norfolk
Dear Sally, thank you so much for your great review. It was a joy meeting you and your husband, and we are thrilled that you loved your stay so much.
Very nice property in a quiet location.
We enjoyed the peace and quite of the property and found some good places to eat out. It was good having some National Trust places to visit as well as Norwich and Sandringham. The weather was wonderful and the sunsets were spectacular.
Thank you so much, Matthew, for your kind review. It was lovely to meet both of you, and we are glad you enjoyed your stay at the cottage.
Exactly as the advertisement said it would be--charming!
We had a lovely holiday in a picture card cottage, that fulfilled all of our needs .
The owners could not have been more helpful ,and welcoming for our dog too.
That meant a lot to us, and we would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to dog owners in particular.
Thank you both so much for the charming review! It was lovely to meet you and your doggie.

Well presented cottage with welcoming hosts and a lovely quiet peaceful garden. Very well placed to visit the coast and inland places of interest.
Thank you very much, Barbara, for your kind review. We would love to welcome you again.
