Family friendly house within Conwy town walls
About Hannah Sinfield
My husband and I and our three children live a ten minute drive from Conwy. Whether you love the seaside or the mountains, castles or cafes, adrenaline adventures or simply relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery, there is something for everyone to do on holiday here. The laid back environment, proximity to the stunning coast and mountains and the huge amount of fun, family friendly activities on offer is why we love living here so much.
Hannah Sinfield purchased this House in 2015
Why Hannah Sinfield chose Conwy Town
The large rooms make Castle Reach feel very spacious and airy. Children have their own dedicated play area (which includes table tennis, a mini pool table, table football, a TV and other games and books) which is separate from the main lounge. The private courtyard at the back is a lovely sun trap in the summer.
What makes this House unique
Castle Reach is the closest residential property to the Castle in Conwy. This unique location makes it a perfect base for your holiday. Not only does it has fantastic sea and castle views but all the attractions in Conwy are right on your doorstep.

Lovely homely rental property in brilliant location
Middle of village. Very good travel links. Close to shops etc
Beautiful property in a great location. Beware if you don’t do stairs this property is over 4 floor with just an entrance on the ground floor.
Lovely large, and clean place. Perfect location literally at the base of Conwy Castle. Only a few minute walk from the train station and a few steps to the water. I highly recommend this property.
Great holiday in North Wales!
This was a great place for a holiday with family! Easy access to everything in the town of Conwy. Nice view of the castle! Very good amenities. We would stay there again when in the area!
Castle Reach Conwy
A very relaxing stay in a welcoming, relaxing home close to amenities, the coast and Snowdonia
very nice house
+ very nice house, lots of space, well equipped, in the center of beautiful Conwy,
- no private parking, which could be inconvenient for elderly persons. Free parking 5 minutes walk away.
Conwy Morfa, the closed beach, is less than five minutes drive away. The large sandy bay makes it a great spot for sandcastles and paddling. A ten minute drive away are the beaches at Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan. Both beaches have cafes, swings and kids paddling pools. Anglesey, half an hours drive away, has 125 miles of beautiful coastline making it the perfect place for a range of water based activities, or simply relaxing on one of the beautiful sandy beaches and taking in the scenery.
A car is not essential. Conwy train station is 100 meters away. The closest airport is Liverpool, 100 km away. Castle Reach is situated within the Castle Walls in Conwy. The central location make it the perfect base for exploring Conwy and the surrounding area. There is no designated parking at Castle Reach. There are short and long stay car parks just a few minutes from the house. There are also places you can park for free which are less than a 5 minute walk from the property. Conwy Castle is without doubt one of the most impressive Welsh castles. There are two fortified gateways and eight massive towers. Most of the towers can be climbed giving a fantastic view of the sea and mountains. For free you can walk on the high castle walls which can be accessed at several different points in Conwy.
Conwy quayside is the perfect place for a gentle stroll, taking the kids crabbing or eating an ice cream whilst admiring the view. Alternatively you can buy some of the world famous Conwy mussels or visit the smallest house in Britain. Boat trips that run up and down the Conwy estuary can also be caught here. The Liverpool Arms, situated on the quayside, is a perfect place to quench your thirst.
Conwy Morfa, the closed beach, is less than five minutes drive away. The large sandy bay makes it a great spot for sandcastles and paddling. It is also has a marina, is good for fishing and is next to a golf course. There are numerous other beaches nearby.
One of the most popular activities for people visiting Conwy is walking. Just behind Conwy is the Sychnant Pass, one of Conwy's best kept secrets. It is the most northern part of the Snowdonia National Park and has many stunning walks, including part of the North Wales Path, which winds for 60 miles between Bangor and Prestatyn along the coast. There are also some fantastic walks up mountains, in forests or along beaches. The area is also popular with mountain bikers.
