Beautiful apartment with a well thought out roof terrace where there was a bbq and plunge pool with plenty of loungers. The complex is well maintained with a lovely pool area and gardens. We particularly liked the large balcony with comfy seating. Modern interiors perfect for a beach holiday and easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and town. We will be back!
The apartment was in a beautiful condition and the surrounding garden and pool area immaculate. I loved the quietness of the area but within a 5 minutes walk you were in the lively hubbub of the Pine Walk
Perfect for our needs! We were a family with 4 older teenage kids. We didn't really get a view of the sea but we were close enough to to the port to walk in the evenings to and from the bars and restaurants( and nightclubs) but far enough to away to get peace and quiet when we needed it. The roof top jacuzzi and bbq area was great and the apartment was really clean. It was a good 15 minute walk to the centre and 10 minutes to the beach but the walk was beautiful and well worth not having to get the car out in the evenings! We will return for sure!
The development was great though perhaps a bit too big but the roof top apartment we rented was really a fantastic space. The kitchen was well equipped and all utensils and equipment was immaculately clean as was all the apartment. We had quite a few ants on arrival in the bathrooms which wasn't really dealt with as promptly as we'd like though understand it was part and parcel of the hot, dry weather. The pool, though lovely, didn't have any sun-ounges to sit on (difficult to bring your sun-lounges down from roof top apartment) so we couldn't sit around the pool but that said it was too hot anyway, as there was little shade; not sure how the pool was meant to work; no sun-lounges or shade! Beautiful setting with the ponds and gardens. Good parking facilities. Fantastic shop/cafe on the corner where we bought dinner on a few nights and breakfast; amazing homemade lasagne (though quite expensive), freshly baked bread (most staff lovely, one in particular not very friendly at all) but very impressed with quality of food. Needed a little more advice on how to find the keys on arrival as the office was closed and we were driving round and round for ages! And we weren't told where to leave keys on departure.
We had a wonderful holiday. The apartment was very spacious, the furnishings, crockery, cutlery etc were all excellent and everything we were likely to need was provided. The only criticism I would make is that since you provided towels, I would have expected them to be changed perhaps halfway though the week.
There was lots of room for five adult family members and two grandchildren and the large grassed area was perfect for the children to play (our apartment was the end of the block.) The pool was spotless and the gardens and surrounding areas were very well maintained.
The beach was perfect for a family holiday and we ate at several restaurants along the pine walk all of which were very welcoming and usually had breakfast at the small cafe attached to the supermarket just by the security gate.
We would certainly recommend the property and would hope to return in the near future.
