Villa in Coin, Costa del Sol (Inland), Spain -
About Jude Foster
My husband and I fell in love with Costa Del Sol 10 years ago. We now have 3 children and find that renting a villa provides us with the perfect family holiday. After renting for so many years decided that it would be ideal to own our own villa and aim to provide everything that we ourselves would be looking for.
Jude Foster purchased this Villa in 2015
Why Jude Foster chose Coín
We bought a villa in the same urbanisation last year (property ref S27028) and due to its success and popularity decided to invest again in the same area. The location is ideal and provides something for everyone within a short distance. We enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of the big towns and cities and love the mountain views. The locals are also really friendly and we have a great team of people who have proved invaluable to us.
What makes this Villa unique
With the large private pool and other amenities including table tennis, pool table and sky to name but a few you don't actually have to leave the villa if you don't want to. There is enough to entertain young and old alike. For those wanting to experience what Spain has to offer the villa is in an excellent location to explore. The shops, restaurants and bars are only 5 mins away and being more traditional that the coastal towns offer much better value for money. The beach at Fuengirola is only a 20 minute drive and La Cala beach is 15 mins.

It was a nice place to stay, well stocked.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this villa. There were a few things which were in need of repair and we raised these with the caretaker. Lovely rooms downstairs in need of an but of an update upstairs. It was lovely to have the pool and driveway for the car. There were seven of us in the party but seating round tables only set up for 6 despite the bedrooms accommodating up to 8. Only minor things and didn’t affect the holiday we had.
Our Home from Home
This was our 7th year on the run staying at this property.
It really is home from home for us, every thing is just right with this Villa
Just cannot stop from coming back time and time again
Nice place but need a car
Lovely villa . We had a few problems but jude was quick to resolve.
We have been renting this villa for the past three years and have always had an excellent experience. The villa is exceptionally well equipped and situated in a very central location. Would not hesitate to recommend . Also Jude has been so helpful and quick to respond with any enquiries. Looking forward to returning next summer!
Whilst we had a lovely holiday a shadow had now been cast as on arrival the blind in the downstairs living area was up and we discovered only later it was not working. Later on in the holiday my 11 year old daughter who has Downs’ Syndrome leaned on the glass covered table in the sitting room and without warning or any misuse we heard a crack and the glass had separated in to three dangerous and distinct parts. We reported this immediately to the caretaker and then also mentioned the blind. We expressed our shock at the time regarding the table and what we believe to be a health and safety issue. We are now being told by the owners that £180 will be deducted from our deposit. We are beyond shocked and upset as we have been accused of ‘smashing’ the table. I have also requested evidence regarding the condition of the blind on our arrival, but to no avail. A sad end to a lovely holiday
In response to your review
the blind was not up on arrival because each blind is tested by the caretaker and left down for security reasons.
The glass table has been in our villa for over 5 years we have never had anybody break it before. We have catered for numerous familys over the years and nrever had a bad review.
The DAMAGE deposit is there for this exact reason if you break something whilst staying at the property then it must be paid for regardless of how it was broke .Like i said before we have been renting our villas out for over five years now and never had a bad review .
Lovely spacious villa ideal for large groups
A large group of 17 of us stayed at Jude’s 2 villas, as we were attending a family wedding. The villas were clean, spacious and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Communication was great with Jude and Steve, who looks after the villas in Coín was on hand to deal with anything we needed or to answer any questions we had. The outdoor space is ideal with many dining areas to choose from and pool table / tennis tables were a great bonus. Highly recommended.
Nearest beach is La cala is 15 mins away and Fuengirola is 20 mins, The whole of the Costa Del Sol is available for beach visits. A favourite is Cala de Mijas, about 30 minutes drive away through some magnificent scenery. This is a quiet sandy beach, with a restaurant right on the sand, serving the best of delicious fresh fish. Fuengirola has all the fun of a traditional seaside resort, and Benalmadena has a cable car ride, water park and adventure park. A little further, and you can visit Torremolinos, Marbella,
Malaga airport is 30 minutes drive away. All the UK budget airlines fly to Malaga, such as Ryanair, Easyjet and Jet2.
A car is necessary.
It is 5km to Coin and Alhaurin el Grande. These are traditional lively Spanish towns with a wide range of services, supermarkets, restaurants etc. They each have a weekly market, and regular fiestas. Mijas is a famous hillside village, about 20 minutes away. Further afield, you can visit El Chorro, an area of lakes, rocks and gorges, in about an hour, while Ronda, another historic scenic town, is about 90 minutes away, as is Gibraltar. Granada and Sevilla can be reached in 2-3 hours.
Inland Costa del Sol is a wonderful area for exploring, with the best of both worlds - busy seaside towns, historic traditional Spanish pueblos, stunning mountain scenery and perfect peace and tranquillity. There is lots to do - visit the zoo at Fuengirola, water park at Torremolinos! Go horse riding, scuba diving or fishing! Have a drink at the marina in Puerto Banus and people-watch the millionaires! Catch the train in Fuengirola to Malaga and visit the Picasso museum! Spend 6 Euro and have a day at the video gaming hall in the nearby shopping centre, all games included!
