This luxury apartment is situated on the first floor of a small development. There is a lift, and all rooms are south facing, enjoying lovely views over the course and open countryside to the sea. The living area has 2 sofas with matching dining table and 4 chairs. The room is light and airy and has a TV, DVD player and portable radio.There are books, videos and games. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are 2 bedrooms: one double and one twin with plenty of wardrobe space.The double has a full en suite bathroom and the twin has an adjacent shower room and W.C. It is ideal for a party of 4 adults or a family of up to 4. There are no sleeping arrangements for very small children. It has a balcony from the lounge and has outside chairs and a dining table, together with 2 sun loungers. There is a communal pool 50 yards away, serving the immediate vicinity for residents and their guests.The area will suit those looking for peace and quiet together with those seeking a more active holiday. There is full air conditioning and a newly installed gas stove in the lounge/dining area.

This is a prime area for golf and the beach. Las Ramblas Golf Course is very complex with many greens invisable from the Tee but it is re-warding for beginners and experts - just buy a course guide!

There are 3 other courses within 5 minutes drive with an excellent booking company just outside the gates of Las Ramblas at La Fuenta.We can provide you with e mail addresses for pre booking if you require - certainly the new course of Las Colinas

About Andrew & June Simmonds

We live in Somerset and bought the property from new some 12 years ago.We have 2 sons who both live locally to us and we are all golfers - hence Las Ramblas. I grew up in East Sussex and my wife in Manchester. She is a retired physiotherapist for a rugby club and I was in marketing for Courage/John Smiths.

Why Andrew & June Simmonds chose Alicante Province and Costa Blanca

We bought this property as our holiday home and have only recently started to let it out. We have had an English mother and daughter in Spain as our 'housekeepers' since we bought it, and are great friends with them. The daughter runs her own cleaning company,letting agency and provides a tranlation service for some local firms as she speaks Spanish, French, a little German and English. It is a true haven away from hectic life.

The first floor 2 bedroom apartment is situated within the Las Ramblas Golf Course which is a designated 'green area' for flora and fauna.It overlooks the 10th green and 11th Tee of the course and has splendid views from the balcony across to the sea.The location is very quiet and peaceful, in a cul de sac, but is only a two minute walk from the new clubhouse which has an excellent modern bar and 2 restaurants.There are supermarkets, restaurants, bars and shops( La fuenta complex) just outside the entrance to the course. There are 3 delightful blue flag beaches 5 minutes drive from the apartment at La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campamor.The bustling town and marina of Torrevieja is some 20 minutes drive away with its Water Park, excellent beaches, good shopping and a wide range of restaurants.The Mar Memor wild life reserve is within easy driving distance and the cities of Murcia and Cartegena are within 45 minutes. Golfers can find 3 other courses within 5 minutes drive and there are numerous other courses within 30 minutes drive to suit all levels of ability.

  • We offer a 15% discount on any holiday of 3 or more consecutive weeks.
    A Keys & Security Deposit of £100 for breakages and above average cleaning is required at the time of booking.This will be refunded as soon as the property has been checked on your leaving and the return by post, to the owners, of the keys.(A pre-paid addressed envelope will be provided for this return)
    To confirm the booking, a deposit of 10% will be required. A receipt detailing the period booked, and an invoice for the balance will be sent and the balance is required 6 weeks before departure date.
    A Cleaning charge of £55 will be added to the Bill for up to 2 weeks stay. For longer periods additional cleaning and linen change can be agreed.
    A Cancellation charge is as follows:
    Up to 21 days or less prior to departure - Full Rental
    22-42 days - 50% of Rental
    42- 56 Loss of 20% Deposit
    57 days or more Full Refund
    The Keys and Security Deposit of £100 will be returned on all cancellations.
  • We recommend that you strongly consider some form of holiday insurance and ensure if travelling from the UK you have a valid EU Heathcard.
    We can,if required, provide details of a UK based family company who can arrange discount Car Hire from Murcia and Alicante airports with a small deposit and the balance being paid on collection of the car.
    We can also put you in touch with a company, 5 minutes drive from the property, who can provide pre-booked Tee times at discounted rates, on the majority of courses, prior to departure.
  • Las Ramblas is well suited to those who require both peace and relaxation, and those who want a more active beach, golf and sports holiday.It is situated in a Spanish designated 'eco-green' area and is well known for its fauna & flora.There are numerous lakeside habitats along the coast especially at Mar Menor and the 'pink' lakes near Torrevieja.
    The historic towns of Murcia,Cartegena,Elche and Alicante are all within easy reach by car.
    There are many 'blue flag' beaches within 10 minutes drive where you can sunbathe or take to the water for a number of sports.Golf courses are numerous, varied in their type,and easy to reach.
    Supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants are available just outside the entrance to Las Ramblas but also many more can be found within 10-15 minutes.
    The new Las Ramblas Clubhouse has verandas,restaurants and a bar overlooking the course where a good variety of food and drink is available and is 2 minutes walk away.

We have a Spanish speaking English lady who manages our property and can be available to meet you at the apartment if required. She is also available in addition for any emergency situations. We have another lady who cleans and arranges collection of linen if a change is required during your stay.Please note that Beach Towels are not provided. The apartment is situated on a cul de sac with no through traffic. The entrance to the apartments has security gates with a key and the apartment itself has a security and alarm system with shutter blinds and grills. Detailed directions, keys, local information and guidance on the use of the apartment will be sent on receipt of full payment. We will be installing a gas fire in the lounge fire place in October which will enhance the warmth of the apartment during the winter months.
