Very cosy and comfortable unique space. Well equipped and good location for exploring North norfolk.
We loved the extremely comfy bed and coming back to the cosy lounge each day after a walk. Only downside maybe was the shower pressure very poor but at least it worked ok. The tiny kitchen was very well equipped and 'thank you ' for the cake and shortbread as a welcome, very thoughtful. The cottage very well situated for visiting surrounding area we soon felt at home. It was the ideal retreat for a relaxing week and very aptly named. Many thanks.
Delightful cottage - we enjoyed our stay.
We were very comfortable. The cottage is very cosy. Maybe, it wouldn't suit everyone - with its open stairs and downstairs toilet. The wet room - was useful - but the floor remained very wet. There were two cupboards taken up with cleaning equipment - one in the kitchen and another in the wet room. It would have been helpful to have made the kitchen one available for food - instead of our box remaining on the draining board. But, as this is more of a suggestion rather than a complaint. Otherwise we were very happy there We hope to return one day. The cottage is in an excellent area for sight-seeing.
Quaint and cosy!
The Hideaway cottage was very very cosy and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the little extras of biscuits, cake and coffee when we arrived.
It was a great base to explore that part of Norfolk and near to many places of interest.
We would definitely recommend this cottage and area!
Cozy cottage in little village near coast.
Great to return to this lovely part of Norfolk again. Just love this small cottage with everything we need. Ideal enclosed rear garden for our little dog. Good WiFi and Smart TV.
Super comfy bed. Well situated for local pub which is within walking distance.
Great for local walks. Hope to be back again soon.
Small, but clean and very comfortable, with everything we required.
The cottage is perfectly positioned for exploring North Norfolk, the coast and its wildlife. Hideaway had everything we required, and although small, it is very comfortable and makes a welcoming base.
Syderstone is a very pleasant village of traditional Norfolk houses and cottages, with a great, friendly local pub (the Lynn) which serves fine ales and excellent food.
Syderstone common is worth exploring - a good little walk before dinner at the Lynn - and look out for the wildlife. It is also worth spending a little time in the church yard at dusk. Look up and wonder at the aerial gymnastics of the local bats hunting insects in the cool evening air.
We had a wonderful week staying at Hideaway cottage. Thank you.
Lovely Relaxing Cottage
A well presented and well equipped little cottage. Ideal for a quiet break away from the world, well most of it. Beaches are a drive away, as are the shops but not a problem for me. Lots to do in North Norfolk with plenty of nature reserves and trails. Very good communication with the owner. Highly recommended.
Close to North Norfolk coastal path and Peddars Way and wonderful sandy beaches of Holkham and Historic houses. Good for walking, cycling and nature reserves.Saturday changeover. Parking available in street.
