It has own gated parking area to front with a relaxing south facing rear garden and terrace area - an ideal area for drinks and alfresco dining. Inside, it is spacious and comfortable with new electric central heating. Ground floor: hallway leading to bathroom and kitchenette. Archway and small step to spacious sitting room with TV, dining table and view to rear garden. French doors to garden. Door from lounge to inner hallway with bedrooms off hallway. Compact but well-equipped kitchenette with mini oven with integral twin hob, built in cupboards and extensive shelving. Bathroom with bath, shower over bath, WC and hand basin. Bedroom 1 with double bed (& travel cot if required). Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Nearby Sheringham has a train service to Norwich and buses link the coastal villages. It is a walkers', birdwatchers' and cyclists' paradise. For golfers, there are nearby 18-hole courses at Sheringham and Cromer. There is a popular pub in the next village serving good food and ale.

Lovely comfortable annex so peaceful and relaxing super location close to the coast
Annex had everything we needed and such a lovely garden to enjoy as well. Our young adult children complained about the lack of WiFi for a few minutes but then enjoyed the reading, conversation and films that they had time for! Sue and Colin were very helpful and friendly. We hope to return at some point.
Stayed here for a weekend break; owner super friendly and helpful, great location for walking, running, cycling and access to seaside; lovely and clean and comfortable beds. Would happily stay again and recommend to others.

Beautiful place to stay

Special interest holidays:
Cycling - the Annexe is on a Sustrans cycle route. The owner is a keen cyclist and would be willing to escort you on half-day or full-day cycle tours around North Norfolk on the country lanes - fee negotiable. Owner also able to offer free advice on good cycle routes if you prefer to cycle without a guide.
Sheringham and Cromer beaches are within 5 miles of the property.
Travel: train: Sheringham Rail station 10 minutes drive from Stone Annexe.
Buses: Regular buses from Sheringham/Cromer and surrounding towns.
Airport: Norwich and Stansted for domestic and international flights.
Stone Annexe is in Gresham village and 5 mins drive to the nearest shop, pub/ restaurant. Sustrans cycle route runs through the village. Holt (Georgian town) and Sheringham 10 minutes by car or approx 30 mins by cycle. Norwich 45 mins by car, or train from Sheringham. North Norfolk Coastal towns by cycle, car or bus.
Cromer has a Morrison's supermarket, Boots, Superdrug, hospital, GPs, dentists, branches of many major banks and building societies, cinema, main post office and many restaurants and cafes. The pier has its own interesting walkway where both children and adults go crabbing and at times enter competitions amongst themselves. There is a restaurant at the entrance to the pier and a gift shop and towards the end is a bar and theatre which shows a variety of shows and plays especially in summer time. At the end of a pier is the Lifeboat station and museum with guided tours at times. There is a yellow seaside train for children taking them around the seaside and town. There are the usual seaside attractions - golf putting and boating. The promenade offers relaxing strolls to watch the ships, surfers and paddlers. There is a zoo and also a museum demonstrating the history of the area. The tourist office in Cromer provides not only information but access to the internet free of charge. A popular carnival takes place in August and attracts visitors from far and wide.
Sheringham is a seaside town with its own restaurants, cafes, promenade, theatre, fire station with open days, GP and a variety of shops. It has the ever popular Poppy Line steam train - a fun ride to Holt. These two towns are about a 10 minute drive from Stone Annexe. Holt is a Georgian town with quaint streets and many antique shops, deli, restaurants and very popular with tourists. Not too far away are towns such as Wells-Next-the-Sea (renowned fish and chip shop), Blakeney, Cley-Next-the-Sea, Holkham with its vast sandy beach and many other seaside resorts all within easy reach by public or private transport. The Broads and Norwich offer visitors a pleasant day trip for shopping, eating and sight seeing
Booking Notes: Stone Annexe can be booked for short breaks (min 3 nights) weekly, or for longer periods by negotiation. Visitors are required to pay a £50 non refundable deposit to secure the booking. 45 days prior to arrival the balance of the rental is required when full details will be sent. The property is cleaned prior to arrival. No smoking indoors. Pets are NOT accepted and this policy is not negotiable. Mobile/TV reception: please note that this can be poor at times, depending on your network provider. Changeover Day: Changeover day is Saturday for weekly bookings but can be flexible especially for short breaks/long weekends. Arrival time is after 16.00 and check out by 10.00. Notes on prices: On booking request acceptance, a £50 non refundable deposit is required to secure the dates. 45 days prior to your arrival date, the balance of the full rental is required after which further details will be sent. Please note the 7-night weekly price is available for weekly bookings from Saturday to Saturday only as per the pricing table. The Annexe is cleaned prior to arrival.
