Great location
Really nice old cottage style property very close to the beach at St Abbs. Fantastic for beach stay. Property had everything we needed for a longish stay. Hosts responsive and everything worked well. Only things to be aware of are the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms 2 & 3 are quite steep (as they were built at that time) so might not suit the elderly.

Happy stay
Comfortable , clean, well supplied with everything we needed. We could not work the television - couldn't get a signal whatever we did and couldn't play videos. Maybe more instructions needed. We had an iPad so didn't matter too much and so much to do in the area anyway. Didn't use the garden , although pretty . Very noisy , though friendly , neighbour with very loud music blaring outside. But we could hang up the washing. But we have enjoyed our stay in the cottage very much , thank you.

Host profile image
I live in Edinburgh with my husband. We have had this cottage for over 25 years. Our children loved summer holidays spent here when young and they still return with friends.
My husband was brought to St Abbs for his childhood summers in the 1960s and 1970s and his mother came as a child in the 1930s.
It is a timeless place which draws you back again and again.
