About Helen Davidson
Helen and Roger have been coming to Rhosneigr for more than 10 years. We love coming here for the beautiful beaches, the watersports and outdoor activities as well as seeing the friends we have made whilst staying here. Roger is a watersports enthusiast, enjoying kitesurfing and Stand up paddle boarding in the bay. Helen enjoys running along the beaches and quiet country lanes, often in the trails in Newborough Forest and out to Llandwyn Island.

Why Helen Davidson chose Rhosneigr
We bought the apartment in 2014 after a long search. We chose this property because of the stunning views across Rhosneigr bay to Rhoscolyn. The flat is in the centre of the village, within easy walking distance of all the amenities. We enjoy the convenience of looking out of the window to decide whether to start the day in the water with a surf or paddle board or a run or alternatively more slowly with a short walk down the beach before breakfast in one of the many nearby cafes. The location also allows a very short walk home at the end of a day on the beach or a night out at one of the pubs, bars or restaurants in the village.

Perfect home with stunning views of sunsets
Very clean and tidy, cozy place with stunning views over the beach and into the sunset. We were not lucky with the weather, so the more important it was to have such a place for coming home. Helen the owner was very helpful and everything was in perfect order. Thanks so much and we sure will come back.

Clean, comfortable and convenient.
This is a beautiful apartment, close to the beach and good parking. It is modern and the bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen modern. The shower is great and welcome after a day on the beach! The only thing missing is perhaps a spin dryer for wet towels and swimwear.
The views are beautiful over the bay and beach and one is treated to the most fantastic sunsets. There are some good eating places although they do get busy so one needs to book. Anglesey itself is lovely with no traffic jams and a friendly, easy going culture. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.
APARTMENT WITH FANTASTIC VIEWS
We stayed at Stones Throw in August 2018. If you are thinking of staying here I would say definitely book. The apartment has amazing views of Rhosneigr beach, I don't think the pictures do it justice. When we arrived everything was spotlessly clean and everything you need for your stay is here. I would recommend Stones Throw to family and friends and hope to rebook in the near future.
Location! Location! Location!
What a wonderful place to stay! Fabulous setting, extraordinary views and an apartment that has everything you need. Myself, my wife, our 16 year old son and our dog poppy spent a lovely week in Rhosneigr. This apartment is 2 mins from the village and 2 mins from the beach and with the picture postcard lounge view is everything you would want. I have nothing negative to say and would return here in a heartbeat. The pictures online do not do this place justice, it was just stunning. Sitting eating dinner with sunset views of the coast was just incredible. We love rhosneigr and this was the perfect location from which to base our holiday. A shout out too for the owner Helen, who was always on hand to speak to and made sure we had all the information we needed. Thanks Helen, this truly was a wonderful week made even better by where we stayed and your kind hospitality.
Beach within 2 minute's walk
Trains stop on request at Rhosneigr station. Close to the port of Holyhead and easily accessible from the A55.
Rhosneigr is a thriving village including 2 convenience shops within easy walking distance of the apartment and the Y Morfa and Glan Neigr pubs. There are numerous cafes including the Surf Cafe, Mojo's creperie and Chaplins ice cream parlour. Restaurants include Sandy's, Sullivan's The Sandymount and the nearby Oystercatcher with Will's Bar for evening entertainment.
Watersports equipment can be hired from Funsport including kayaks and stand up paddle boards. They also provide lessons in windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and SUPing. The Anglesey Sea Zoo and beautiful wooded beach walks at Newborough are within close driving distance.
