Scarrow Barn is a converted nineteenth century barn offering comfortable, attractive accommodation in a peaceful rural location. The house is so arranged that it can be a cosy holiday home for a couple, one family or small group, but can also comfortably accommodate a larger party of two families.
At the heart of the house is a spacious well equipped kitchen with wonderful views; from here we often see a barn owl hunting over the nearby fields. Adjoining the kitchen is a snug sitting room with wood burning stove, TV & DVD player and plenty of books. There is a large graciously furnished drawing room, with a grand piano, wood burning stove and comfortable sofas and chairs. In addition there is a snooker room and a separate dining room.
Also on the ground floor is a light and spacious double bedroom, with an ensuite bathroom and a further twin bedroom, with an adjacent shower room. Upstairs are three further bedrooms, a double, a single and one with a double bunk and a single bed; together with a good sized shower room.
Leading from the dining room is a sheltered courtyard for sitting and eating out in the summer. This connects with a large garden which includes a rose covered pergola surrounding a hard tennis court. There is plenty of space for parking.
