Our home is a spacious ground floor luxury 2 bedroom apartment. It offers fabulous contemporary living accommodation throughout. It’s a short walk to the main beach and Praca with a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars; there is also an adults and children’s swimming pool there(fees apply). The apartment is close to the tennis academy where guests can enjoy free use of the shared swimming pool, sun beds along with gym and sauna (guests will also be entitled to 50% discount for tennis courts). The luxury 5 star resort of VDL has many on site amenities including a children’s club/crèche, crazy golf, a health spa, boutique shops, news agent, bank, medical centre and the resort also benefits from 24 hour security. There is a well stocked supermarket by the entrance into VDL and is only a 10 min walk from the apartment or 1 min drive. The resort also has 2 championship golf courses of the Royal and Ocean and the club house is a 2 min drive from the apartment. This is also where the resort reception is located. The apartment is professionally managed by VDL and the resort is only 20 min from faro airport. We are also members of the VDL proprietors club which means guests will be entitled to purchase a resort welcome card for your stay which gives you exclusive discounts such as 40% off green fees and free use of the internal shuttle bus (details of resort card costs can be provided on enquiry).

Fabulous apartment in fantastic resort
The apartment was lovely, modern, big, clean, with all the mod cons including English TV channels (a must for kids). Everything this family of four needed and some we didn't even realise we did need/want???
The resort is HUGE, with a gorgeous beach, breezes pool at the PRACA and an amazing array of restaurants too. The tennis club was a great hub and close to the apartment, with Pool, bar and gym all free to use...though sadly the pool really does need some TLC (and cleaning please).

This apartment has everything a family needs for a relaxing, comfortable and active holiday.
I can highly recommend this apartment for a family of four (2 pre teen boys). Everything has been considered (in terms of IT, tennis club membership, comfort, cleanliness and security) to make this a seamless & relaxing holiday location. If the apartment had direct access to a swimming pool I could give it a 5 star rating. As it is, access to the tennis club pool is just a short walk or cycle downhill & the club pool is functional & satisfactory. Discount on Camps & tennis lessons at the academy is a bonus as the cost may otherwise be prohibitive. We didn't avail of the golf club on site. The cost of bike hire was minimal & as we opted not to hire a car we used bikes (rented from the nearby V de L reception) for frequent trips to the tennis academy, beach, supermarket & restaurants. This very large complex is beautifully maintained & checked regularly by security. The overall feel is of a very private & exclusive residential area. We had exceptional weather for ten days in April & the only thing we missed was proximity to the locals as this is very much a resort location.

The main beach is a short walk or 2 min drive where you will find golden sand that stretches for miles to villamoura or Quinta Do Lago the other way. You will also find some lovely beach bars and restaurants that are highly recommended such as Maria's.
The Vale Do Lobo resort is only 20 mins from Faro airport
The nearest supermarket is at the entrance to the resort so a 2 min 2 drive. The nearest town is Almancil which is les than 10 minutes away and has many lovely restaurant's as well as a big supermarket. The Marina of Villamoura is around a 15 minute drive where you will also finds the water park for families
Booking Notes: A 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. with final payment 6 weeks prior to arrival. A £100 damage deposit is required refundable within 14 days of return. Prices include weekly maid service with bed linen and towels provided weekly. Beach towels are not provided. Extra maid service/cleaning available at extra charge. Changeover Day: Arrival dates are usually Friday to Sunday. However if there is space in the booking calendar then we can accept mid week bookings for 10 days or short stays etc.. Arrival is after 2pm and departure by 10am, this can be flexible if not a swap over day Notes on prices: We will try hard to respond quickly to enquires. If you have not heard from us within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or give us a call. Prices are per week in UK pounds. Normal departure by 10am and arrival after 2pm. There is flexibility to match flight times subject to bookings. Air con / heating is an extra £50 per week, please confirm if you wish to have air con / heating at the time of your booking.
