The 17th century Yew Tree Barn is set in a courtyard with the owners farmhouse on a working dairy farm where we also make our delicious Kelsmor ice cream. Yew Tree Barn has its own patio with table and chairs, and a shared garden with a small lake.
The barn was converted to give a light modern space but still retains the character and beams. The slate floored entrance hall leads to three oak floored bedrooms and the main bathroom. The master bedroom has a 5ft bed and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has a 5ft bed, and a door to the patio. The third bedroom has a double bed 4ft6in, and a single 3ft bed and also has a door to the patio. The family bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
From the hall stairs lead to the first floor and the large vaulted open plan kitchen, dining and living space. Off the kitchen is a utility room contain the washing machine & tumble drier. Large windows allow light to pour into the barn making it a very airy space. Doors from the living area lead to a small balcony where you can sit and watch the cows in the paddock, or the rabbits playing, and watch the sun set over Garway Hill.
There is underfloor heating throughout the barn powered by a ground source heat pump which also heats the water.
