The cottage is beautifully decorated and in a stunning location. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Communication with the Property Manager and check in was easy and convenient. Any questions we had were answered promptly. So glad we were able to stay in Doc Martin's house !
Lovely cottage and enjoyable stay. Few
Lovely cottage and enjoyable stay.
Lovely property, lovely setting. Shirley was gracious and helpful when ever I reached out to her.
My stay was wonderful and memorable. I would love to come back for a longer holiday in the future
Beautiful views at the Doc's cottage.
Fabulous location and lovely cottage to stay in to enjoy a few days in Port Isaac. Very comfy beds, nice sized bedrooms, lovely bathroom, too. Well appointed kitchen with oven, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine, plus comfortable living space for those evenings when you feel like staying in. Appreciated the full series of Doc Martin on DVD so we could watch and say "we've been there!" and "Look,
the Doc is sat unpacking boxes in the dining room where we just had tea!"
One little thing, the glasses in the cupboard hadn't been cleaned and had food/lipstick on them, but we just ran them through the dishwasher before using them and all was well. Also, parking is on the bit of paving out front, and roads are narrow, so if you're hiring a car to make the trip, opt for a small one! :)
There are no words to describe how wonderful our stay was!
The home owner is very easy to communicate with. The property was beautiful and had all the amenities that one would need. Only thing we would change is that we should have stayed two weeks instead of one!!
It was a Fun Stay
We had a great time here. Since you give up privacy staying in this cottage whilst filming is going on, it is also a fun place to stay when they are filming at the cottage itself. We met Martin and Caroline and got to see Martin work with Buddy. Shirley was responsive to our needs. The only suggestion I have is to have a small trash bin in each bedroom which would make it easier for makeup etc.
