secluded wooden lodge. 2 bedrooms.
These pine log cabins enjoy a secluded south facing position on Snittlegarth Farm, with views across open country to Binsey Fell. A haven for wildlife, as well as the farm animals. Snittlegarth is home to roe deer, badgers, foxes, pheasants and a variety of songbirds, with red squirrels coming up to the lodges to feed. The original Snittlegarth Estate was owned by Lord Gillford and extended to 12,000 acres. It is now farmed on a smaller scale and has the benefit of footpaths from the doorstep on to Binsey Fell and beyond. Snittlegarth lies in a truly tranquil valley close to Ireby and Uldale on the northern fringe of the National Park and provides an idyllic retreat for those who wish to escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Relaxed, peaceful and beautiful. Perfect for a getaway stay / adventure race with mates. Squirrels play outside in the trees surrounding the two lodges.

The property was very clean and well looked after just perfect for a few days peace and quiet
We had a fantastic few days relaxing and exploring the local area, weather was fantastic spending evenings sitting outside watching the busy wildlife at the feeders, perfect location would recommend we loved it.
The lodge was in a beautiful spot, really clean and comfortable. Everything we needed.
Had a lovely short break at Snittlegarth Farm; a really lovely quiet secluded spot with red squirrels and birds to watch from the lodge. The lodge was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Rod was friendly and welcoming, and provided us with some lovely fresh eggs from the farm! The outside space at the cabin is really lovely, would be fabulous when the weather is better! We would definitely recommend Snittlegarth Farm!
A lovely oasis of peace and tranquility
The lodge was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The best bit though was the tranquil, secluded and relaxing environment with a rich array of birds and sheep. Highly recommended if you wish to get away from it all and enjoy nature.
thanks,nice to meet you.
