About sue webster
I am Cornish born and bred and my family has lived in Boscastle for many generations. My mother Trixie owns The Harbour Light Clothes shop in which my daughter works when not at college and The Harbour Light Tearooms so you will probably meet her around. I also work at the village doctors surgery and in my spare time you can often see me out on my horse, on my bike, going out in the kayak or taking my dog for a walk. I am proud of and really appreciate living in Boscastle as it is such a wonderful place.

Beautiful character cottage in the best location
The owner made everything very easy, and was super responsive to questions on text even though they were on their own holiday at the time. The Boathouse is a beautifully refurbished survivor of the 2004 flood, and coffee table books with the history of the area and the flood were available and much appreciated, as were a custom carton of biscuits labeled 'A Gift from The Boathouse'...just lovely..
Great place, beautiful setting.
The cottage was lovely, clean and within a beautiful setting. Couldn’t of asked for more, however Sue the owner was available if you needed anything. Some fantastic walks. Highly recommend.
Visit to Cornwall
Our little cottage was in the heart of Boscastle, with wonderful scenery and delightfully decorated throughout. Every thing we needed. Would certainly stay again. The Cobweb pub a stones throw with music and lovely atmosphere.
Lovely place to stay both Boscastle and the Boathouse
The location of this charming cottage is just wonderful and inside is so comfortable and inviting with everything you could need for a relaxing stay.
And best of all is the short walk in the evenings for food and refreshments and to see the sun go down........bliss :)
Can't tell you
Unfortunately I can't provide feedback on the stay as it was cancelled by the owner 8 days prior without explanation. Although a full refund was provided, as I am from outside the UK, I still lost money on the exchange rate. During the busy holiday season, it was very difficult and significantly more costly to find accommodation. My first and likely last experience with Owners Direct was very disappointing.
