About Rachel Bryson
We used to live and work in Sussex and bought the cottage in 2010 so that we could continue to enjoy spending time in West Sussex with our three children. We love visiting throughout the year, going on days out to the beach, visiting Arundel castle, eating out in the many different cafes, pubs and restaurants and going to London on the train.

Great little place
We’ve had a great couple of nights. Location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding 4miles up the road. Able to wine and dine in Arundel on Friday. Fab Chinese restaurant, superb local champagne at Norfolk Arms, along with drinks in Arundel’s oldest pub. Breakfast was eaten out.
Bedrooms and beds were all comfy, great shower, everything we needed was right there. Can’t complain at all.
The cottage is hidden away so lovely and quiet, but walking distance to the great shops and the Castle and Cathedral.
Definitely going to visit again.
Thank you 😊
My three friends and I are gradually walking sections of the South Downs Way and St Georges Cottage, (and Arundle), was the perfect location for us to complete a central section of the national trail.
Cottage very pretty and clean. Good kitchen facilities. Everything we needed for 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a toddler.
Parking was a bit of an issue. We knew we might struggle to park directly outside, but ended up several streets away! All in all a lovely break. Arundel is very quaint
Lovely cottage, really great location minutes from the high street.
Lovely little cottage
Really enjoyed our stay, we had a 1 year old with us and the cottage was safe and suitable for a baby and right in the centre so easy to get everywhere
Great cottage in perfect location
Perfect, very comfortable, clean and homely.

The nearest post office is on the high street in Arundel, where you'll find several banks and shops, including a supermarket. Arundel Castle is open from spring throughout the summer and has a wonderful garden too or you could hire a rowing boat at Swanbourne lake just along from the castle and also feed the ducks and wild birds while you are there. Take a boat ride up the river to the Black Rabbit pub, or play golf at the pitch and putt on Mill road.
