About Ruth Woodage
When we moved here from the New Forest, the cottage had already been renovated and was being run as a holiday let. We were very pleased that this beautiful holiday cottage was part of our property and over the years we have gradually made various changes and improvements to make it more of a home from home. It is regularly used by friends and family who enjoy visiting the area, as well as providing tourist accommodation.
Ruth Woodage purchased this Cottage in 2006
Why Ruth Woodage chose Saint David's
We loved the wild nature of the North Pembrokeshire coast. It feels remote here - yet after a few minutes in the car you can be at a pub, restaurant, cafe or gallery. The choice of walks is amazing - coastal, countryside or woodland - they are all on the doorstep!
What makes this Cottage unique
Tilley's Cottage has loads of character, with the thick stone walls keeping it cool in summer and cosy in winter; and whatever time of year you stay, if it's clear enough for a sunset - you won't miss it!

Tilley's is a lovely base for a holiday in Pembrokeshire.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tilleys. It is a comfortable, well equipped base for a stay in this beautiful part of Wales. Thank you, Ruth, for a lovely stay
Many thanks for your positive feedback Sue. Glad you all enjoyed your stay!
Perfect location, lots of superb walks, Blue Lagoon and Whitesands, and Tenby was delightful
Glad you enjoyed your break!
We really enjoyed our stay at Tilly’s Cottage. The space was very comfortable and inviting. The cottage was within walking distance to a stunningly beautiful portion of the coastal trail. It was also a quick drive into St., David”s, with it’s magnificent cathedral. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were sorry that we didn’t have more time to spend in this idyllic area in Wales.
Thanks for your review. We are very pleased that you were comfortable at the cottage and that you enjoyed your time in the area.
Time at Tilleys
We both enjoyed the cottage and what it has to offer. Our dog Monty, who is a rather large gentle giant of a dog really apricated the inner and outer space. The quiet, stillness and comfort is just what we all need. Thank you to Ruth and Roger.
Many thanks for your review Jan. Very glad that you enjoyed the cottage!
Perfect for a quiet getaway
We stayed for a week with our boys aged 3 and 5 years. The cottage was clean and welcoming-our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and welsh cakes which was a lovely bonus. We live in the centre of a busy city so it was wonderful to get away to this quiet location with all of the beauty of Pembrokeshire. Highly recommended.
We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and were comfortable in the cottage. Thanks posting your review!
