We found this lovely cottage and its fantastic owners by chance, called them, and got an answer from abroad! Ray was travelling, but smilingly redirected us to his lovely Rose. In two hours we were set up in Sally's Place and had gotten overview and maps over everything possibly needed and wanted.
We enjoyed our stay very much - and even prolonged it with a night.
The place has everything one could want - including freezer, washing maschine and tumble dryer. There is no dishwasher - and no need for it either.
It is clean and well-maintained - they have restored and decorated everything themselves and continues to keep it very well.
As previously mentioned the owners are a fantastic couple. Friendly, informative, chatty and in every way service minded.
We really do recommend the the cottage, the place and the people and we will come back later to.
Thank you, Rose and Ray, dor a really lovely stay.

From the time our plane landed in Shannon, until we left a month later our trip was wonderful due to Ray and Rose's awesome hospitality. The beautiful cottage was very clean and well decorated. In March/April the weather is still pretty cool on most days and even though we didn't use much heat the bedding was plenty and cozy to keep us warm during the night. The cottage was well equipped to cater to our needs independently. Anytime we needed directions, re-instructed on the use of appliances or guidance on Irish life the whole family went beyond the call of duty to help us.
We made some new friends we will never forget. Ireland was life changing for us.

We had a wonderful vacation in the "Briar Rose" cottage. We also had the chance to see the other two cottages Ray has to offer and they looked just as lovely.
Ray and Rose were amazing hosts and had a lot of local insights and traveling tips to offer. Thank you for a wonderful time!

This was our second stay in this cottage, it is so beautiful. It is small, but erverything we needed, is there. It is very clean, we have cooked and it is perfect for 2 persons. Everyday we made a trip to Lough Conn and looked at the cows, and sheps and dogs ...
Ray and Rose are very helpful and we will come back again. We can prefer this cottage. It is so quiet and in the night the stars looked over us. In the town Ballina we got all what we wanted.
