This former barn has been sympathetically converted into 2 semi-detached houses with sea views from many windows. Fidra sleeps 6 and its next door neighbour, Longstone, sleeps 4, so these properties could be booked together for larger parties of up to 10.

Fidra has 3 bedrooms on the ground floor plus family bathroom, and the first floor provides an open-plan living/dining/kitchen space with spectacular views from the Farne Islands to Dunstanburgh Castle. On fine days enjoy less than a mile's walk to the unspoilt beach at Embleton (the golf club there provides refreshments and food) and walk north to Low Newton or south along the beach to the National Trust's Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster. If you have a dog, bring him or her along to enjoy the stunning beach walks.

The facilities include:

1 ground floor double bedroom with pine bed frame and pine wardrobe and cabinets.

2 ground floor twin bedrooms, both with pine bed frames and pine bedroom furniture.

Family bathroom on the ground floor - bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC.

First floor open-plan sitting/dining/kitchen area with panoramic views from large picture windows. Kitchen has electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier. Sitting/dining area has 2 leather sofas, plus easy chairs, coffee table, TV, DVD player, music system, pine dining table and chairs for 6

Grassed external area for sitting out at the front (table and bench provided).

Special Notes and conditions:

A Good Housekeeping bond of £150 is required to be lodged during your stay. To arrange payment of the good housekeeping bond, one of the property management team will contact you once your booking arrives.

1 well behaved dog welcome, additional charge of £25.00 per pet per week or part thereof. To book your dog in, please add a note to the property manager when you place your booking. You will need to pay separately the £25 for your dog, one of the property management team will contact you once your booking arrives.
