Welcome to our French farmhouse which is located on the edge of Mouilleron en Pareds & Bazoges en Pareds in the beautiful Vendee. Nearby there are shops as well as 5 restaurants and a couple of bars all within 3km. The vibrant town of Chantonnay is 8 miles away, and there is a lake with swimming and fishing (as well as La Morliere a lovely restaurant) just a couple of kilometres down the road. The spectacular Puy de Fou Parc des Attraction with its Chariot racing, Vikings, Gladiators, Falconry and so much more is only 20km away. An Equestrian Centre is just over the road at Tallud St Gemme. Here they provide courses from 2 year olds upwards - for as little as half an hour! This detached Stone Farm House is available for rent throughout the year. We have a 1/2 Acre Garden and a spacious detached home with 3 very large bedrooms (2 en-suite). The largest 2 comfortably house 2 double beds, the third has 2 singles. The house can therefore sleep up to 10 depending upon who wants to share a bed! For those who might fancy a winter break we have recently serviced the central heating and have 2 large log wood burners. Many of the original period characters remain with wood floors, exposed beams, fireplaces and quarry tile floors and a luxurious living room (40m²). Chris and Deb bought this lovely farmhouse in the Vendee after many years of holidaying in the area. We simply love everything about the area and the house with its fantastic pool is a delight. This is the first time we have considered letting the house after we had the pool built.

If a house in a peaceful,quiet location away from it all, this is the place. The only issue we had was that the internet didn’t work for the duration of our stay. I would also suggest that the owners depersonalise the house a little and remove some of their personal items and clothes from the property
