Great stay at Bradnop
This property lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Pauline and her husband met us at the property and were extremely friendly and helpful. We had brought dogs with us and the enclosed paddocks were brilliant. We loved our stay so much, we booked next year as soon as we got home :-)
Lovely well kept and comfortable house in a fabulous location
Warm, comfortable and superb location for some peace and quiet. Excellent location to take dogs, great food options in the area that also take dogs.
The communication with the owner was swift and extremely helpful, and although my wife and I did not meet Pauline in person, my Father and his wife did and she could not be more welcoming and helpful.
Nice location.lovely clean cottage...good view.lovely place to go had an amazing time.owners were nice and friendly..would highly recommend.will come again.
Gorgeous little cottage (although it’s super roomy), proper home from home,
Loved the stay at Little Bent, it was a lovely cottage, remote and quiet with sensational views. Lovely place and amazing owners.
Gem of a cottage
This is truly a gem of a cottage. Every creature comfort you could wish for in a home away from home.
Perfectly situated to explore the stunning Peak District. Although for us it was a very fleeting visit we still managed to sample some of the awesome scenery as recommended by the charming and welcoming host.
We will certainly be returning.
Cottage is well located for Peak District and Staffordshire with panoramic views over Leek and surrounding countryside. The Autumn colour being a bonus.
Weather not brilliant but as expected in November.
Dog friendly cottage with secure garden after we blocked gap under a gate to adjacent sheep field. We chose cottage as remote, the idea to get away from fireworks at home that disturbs our dog. Did not work as despite being few properties in immediate vicinity there were fireworks for 5 nights. Although still not as bad as at home.
Owner gave us a warm welcome and gave us ideas of where to visit.
We will return in future.
Little Bent is well located for so many types of holidays. Its on the edge of the Peak District, lots of amazing walks and cycle trips are literally just outside the gate. Within less than 5 miles you have the Manifold Valley, Dovedale, The Roaches, Rudyard lake, Carsington water and much more. The market town of Leek is just 1.5 miles away. With Buxton, Macclesfield, Stoke On Trent and Ashbourne nearby. Just to mention a few.
Nestled between so many picturesque villages,Bradnop, onecote,Butterton. Grindon. Ipstones. There are no shortage of traditional country pubs to sample. Many within walking district and all within a short cycle ride. With a cycle hire centre in Waterhouses, where the less frequent riders can enjoy a peaceful, flat cycle ride along the manifold track. There are golf courses in town. Clay pigeon shoots every second and fourth Sunday in the month. Families will love the world famous Alton towers which is than 10 miles away, Trentham monkey forest or the popular Waterworld; where regardless of the weather the family can experience hours of family fun. There are the alton towers spa; another great experience, regardless of the weather. The nearest supermarket is only 1.5 miles away.
