About Leanne Weekes
We are Darren and Leanne Weekes and we live in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire with our 2 children. We fell in love with Ilfracombe and the rest of North Devon in 2007 when we came on holiday here with our 2 girls. We genuinely believe Ilfracombe is the nicest town in Devon and we are amazed every time we come here just how much one small seaside town has to offer. We also think that the restaurants offer some of the nicest food around and the people are so lovely and welcoming. We bought No. 5 Searock in March 2014. We had been searching for our perfect holiday ‘bolt hole’ for over a year. The apartment needed a bit of refurbishment, which was completed in July 2014.

Why Leanne Weekes chose Ilfracombe
Ilfracombe is a fantastic town to enjoy, in a picturesque setting and a perfect base from which to explore the fabulous surrounding coast and countryside. The apartment block could not be in a better location with an amazing view from the balcony that has the most beautiful sunsets.
What makes this Apartment unique
Situated on the sea front and close to the harbour, beaches and town, our apartment has everything you need for a really enjoyable holiday or short break. Despite the amazing food the restaurants have to offer, our apartment is fully equipped for you to enjoy easy, 'home from home' living. The South West facing balcony captures the sun all day long and offers a perfect place to take in the scenes and sunsets and to 'chill out' after a long day sight-seeing, surfing or ‘hanging out’ in North Devon. The apartment suits families, couples and friends who can do as much or as little as they like.

Lovely flat. Perfect location. Shame about the scaffolding
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Children loved it and had so much fun chasing waves on the beach. Flat was good, but couldn't go out on balcony or see much of the view due to scaffolding.
Clean and tidy
Parking a bit hit and miss. Also building being repainted but good little flat. Great location. Needs a new tin opener. Xx
Great location, comfortable apartment
Had a lovely stay in Illfracombe apartment was lovely
Excellent accomodation in great location
We were delighted with the accommodation. Everything was just as we'd hoped.
Our granddaughter summed it up after our first night. "I feel really at home here".
Great property, very central, can't beat balcony in the evening sun.
Thank you for leaving a review. We couldn't agree more. The view from the balcony is brilliant!
Amazing view , amazing apartment and amazing location.
The apartment is in a fabulous location with a beautiful view, watching the world go by. There is an amazing Weatherspoons pub opposite with a roof garden but has no impact on the apartment at all and actually not allowed up On the roof until late. The location is central to harbour and 5 minute walk to Lidl. We were very fortunate to get the car park space for the whole 5 days , but when my son joined us he was able to park his car in a road opposite the Theatre that has a loop for free overnight. The walk to Hele beach is great and not arduous, and great to explore. Lovely beach but we found there were a lot of dogs at this beach. Woolacombe beach for the short drive is well worth a visit and costs around £7 to park your car for the day. Tunnels beaches is incredible and definitely check the tide times to make sure you see the rock pool. Will definitely be back. Naomi met us easily and efficiently and gave us all the information we needed.
Thank you for such a great review with some really interesting information for future visitors. Hope to see you again.
