About Richard Thomasson
Richard and Francesca Thomasson have lived and worked abroad for a number of years and they bought the house in 2014 for their eventual retirement. Both Richard and Francesca have family connections in Kent and they love all that Canterbury has to offer and the convenience of the cross-channel terminals and London, all within easy reach, and of course the beautiful Kent countryside and coasts.

Great house for family visit in Canterbury.
The house had everything you need for the stay with the family, planty room space, well equped kitchen, all was very clean and tidy. The landlords took care of a worm wellcome with the bottle of wine waiting for us on the table.
It's 10 min walk from the centre of the city so no problems walking 2 or 3 times to the centre. The neighbors were very polite and naighberhood very quite. We loved it!
We are pleased our guests enjoyed their stay. The house is in a very quiet location but still close to the centre of Canterbury and everything the city has to offer.
Comfortable modern Mews property
Roomy house with all modern conveniences to hand. Well equipped with nice china and cutlery. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Short walk or bus ride into Canterbury. Very practical parking for two cars outside the front door.
We are pleased our guests enjoyed their stay and what the house has to offer.
The quiet location is great for Canterbury.
Just the right size, convenient for Canterbury centre.
Out of the city centre but within a brisk 10 mins. walk you are there!
The house has everything you could require for a comfortable holiday, nicely presented and Alex and Joan were very welcoming and showed us 'all the ropes'.
First time in this part of the country so there was much to see and enjoy.
Don't go to Whitstable on a bank holiday though, it was crowded!
Like the fact that the house stands back from the busy main road (New Dover Road)in a private Mews so a lot of the passing noise is removed.
Would I recommend a holiday here, definitely!
We are very pleased our guests enjoyed their stay.
The location of the house is a bonus - a private location but within easy reach of h city centre.
Wonderful place - great location for Canterbury and for touring Kent. The house itself is comfortable and clean and has all you would need, a true 'home from home'.
We are very pleased Eddy and his family enjoyed staying at our house.
The house is located in a quiet Mews development but very convenient for the centre of Canterbury.
We use the house ourselves as a UK base and we take care to have all the comforts of home.
Modern, clean property with everything you need
Within a 15 minute pleasant walk to Canterbury centre, the location of this property is ideal for exploring. The house was very clean and well maintained, and the neighbours are friendly. Everything we needed was to hand, and we couldn't have asked for more. Small touches like board games and DVDs, everything you could want in the kitchen, heated towel rails and fans, made a very pleasant stay. The owners sent clear instructions and were friendly and helpful. The city of Canterbury has a lot to offer, from historical sites to modern shops. Brilliant! Can't fault this property at all. Would definitely recommend it and we hope to return again.
We are pleased our guests enjoyed their stay. We like to provide all the comforts of home especially as we use the house ourselves. The location is great for Canterbury centre and the surrounding area.
A fantastic property immaculately clean
First of all, great communication pre holiday. Then perfect arrival instructions, met with a bottle of wine to greet us and an absolutely immaculate property.
The location is great. We were only a short drive from all the lovely places to see on the coast and close to Canterbury centre.
We had a walk up to the Gate Inn which was a lovely meal and good service.
We loved the summer room at the back, and the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen facilities were pristine, well stocked and had everything you would need.
Would definitely return here if we were staying in the area again, and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking in this area.
Sainsbury local just round the corner too at the side of the cricket ground!!
We are very pleased our guests enjoyed their stay. We take care that the house has all the comforts of home as we use the house for our visits to the UK.
The location is perfect for Canterbury centre and the surrounding countryside and coast. If you like cricket you can watch the game through for free from what I call the 'Sainsbury's End'.
The house is located to the south of Canterbury city centre which has sight-seeing, shopping and restaurants to suit all tastes. The city centre is a 10 minutes walk and there is a regular bus service to the city centre with a stop by the Mews. Kent County Cricket ground and a well-stocked Sainsbury’s local store are around the corner.
