Newly refitted for Summer 2016, this quality apartment offers stylish living for up to six guests. Situated in a central, residential location just a little north east of Southend town centre. 10-15 minute walk to the high street, a 10 minute drive to London Southend airport and less than a 15 minute walk to a choice of 3 rail stations with great links to central London. My place is good for couples, holiday makers, business travellers, and families.

Ready to enjoy our quality apartment? This central Southend ground floor apartment has had a complete makeover for Summer 2016, so is in tip top order. With it's own street door you will enter to find a spacious living room, two twin/double bedrooms, and a modern bathroom including shower and WC. The generous living room where you and your guests can relax and unwind, eat and drink and enjoy each other’s company in a modern, well equipped and comfortable space that’s designed for socialising. Whether you’re planning to bring the family or are visiting as a group of professional friends, let us know the number of double and single beds you need in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your requirements.

As your hosts, we’re delighted to grant you full and exclusive use of the whole apartment for the duration of your stay. If you’re bringing a car to Southend, you’ll be pleased to note that there is free on-street parking in Boscombe Road. As the apartment is fairly central it can be busy sometimes so parking right outside the door may not always be possible but it is not normally a problem to park nearby and, if you have particularly heavy bags, the road is wide enough for a a short spell of double parking whilst you unload.

We’re determined to ensure your stay at Seventy Eight is as comfortable as it is memorable. That’s why we’ll keep a low profile and leave you free to enjoy the apartment. Southend-on-Sea is an ever popular seaside town within easy reach of London. There are three train stations, on two separate lines, all within a 15 minute walk of the apartment, providing direct access to London in under an hour. The apartment is contained within a well maintained end of terrace Victorian property. The street is almost entirely residential properties of similar style with a broad range of neighbours - from young families to professionals and the retired. Seventy Eight is conveniently located within the town with easy access to all the local shops, restaurants and cafés within easy reach, whether you choose to get around on foot, or by bike, car or bus. As well as Southend town centre, which is approximately 10 - 15 minutes walk, there are also a number of shops, bars and cafes on Southchurch Road which is just a two or three minute walk from the apartment. The town has as lively night-life, with nightclubs, bars and pubs in which you can relax and unwind. Then there's also all the fun of the seaside entertainment or a relaxing stroll along an extensive promenade.

Lots of local public transport - three bus stops within a 2 minute walk - and direct access to London and all towns in between - the transport links could hardly be better for exploring this part of Essex.
