Boyd Cottage is a lovingly converted barn on a working farm, one of three neighbouring cottages tucked in the Golden Valley outside the village of Bitton. It has two bedrooms that can be either configured as a double and two singles, or alternatively as two doubles. One has an ensuite shower and wc, and the second has an adjacent bathroom with a bath and a shower over the bath. Upstairs is open plan, with a living area one end and a kitchen/diner the other. There is a private walled patio at the back and a paved front garden with teak chairs, table and recliners, plus a play area with swings, a climbing frame and slide and a trampoline. There is also a walk to the River Boyd where there is a picnic table by the Mill Pond.
Popular with cyclists, riders and walkers, the valley has many footpaths as well as being close to the Bristol & Bath Railway Path. The historic cities of Bath and Bristol are both 15 minutes drive away and many further attractions are within reach. Tracey Park Golf Club is two miles away. The property is 100 metres from the owners' house, and there is often plenty going on to entertain visitors.
