Visitors love the idea of picking up their daily paper and fresh loaf of bread and then relaxing in the courtyard garden and in the Winter there is nothing better than opening a bottle of wine in front of the lovely electric woodburner. Spend the day walking the coast and come home to a warm and cosy cottage or just spend the day doing nothing but relaxing. Whatever you intend to do when you visit Hartland you can be assured that Bay Tree will be sure to welcome you home at the end of the day.

Everything required for a pleasant stay.
We had a great time in this cottage. It’s well equipped for families and even has stair gates which was a welcome surprise for us as we have a climbing toddler. Our dog also had a good time!
Hartland is a lovely village and the pub has a great beer garden. We were lucky with the gorgeous weather.
Beautiful little cottage lovingly furnished to make it feel cosy & homely. Everything you could need or want, home from home. It’s the little touches which make it extra special, we were greeted with a cream tea & Easter eggs. Great outdoor space which we would have utilised more if it hadn’t been for the rain. Quaint little village, at night you could hear a pin drop! Fantastic village shop which always seemed to be open! I would definitely recommend & would stay again.
