Watersedge is a purpose-built, second floor 3-bedroom apartment in the Greenhill area of Weymouth. It has incredible uninterrupted sea views from the master bedroom, living area and second bedroom, and is situated on the beachfront. The apartment has been finished to a high standard in a contemporary style with modern underfloor heating throughout, stone floors in the living and bathroom areas, and granite worktops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen area. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the family bathroom has a spa bath and separate shower cubicle. There is a lift to all floors and an allocated parking space outside. Greenhill beach is less than a minute's walk across the pedestrian promenade in front of the apartment. A chintz- and bedspread-free zone!

There is no wifi. You will have to talk to one another and admire the views - sorry...

We bought this property after spending a week in Weymouth, enjoying the beautiful seafront and child-friendly amenities. The apartment has a fantastic seafront location yet is walkable to the town centre. We love the modern uncluttered style and the constantly changing beautiful views over the sea. It is a wonderful place to relax.

What makes this apartment unique

We regularly visit the property ourselves and are keen that the high standards are maintained for guests. Dealing with us directly avoids having to pay the booking fees imposed by HomeAway on properties booked through their website.

Welcome pack on arrival, public sandpit and paddling pool adjacent to property. One allocated private parking space outside. Visitor space also available and public carpark nearby. Lift to all floors, but there are 5 steps at the entrance to the apartment building. HIghchair and cot available (no charge). Please bring your own bedding for the cot.

A delight to find the apartment as per the description and photos. Lovely to see that there was an abundance of cutlery and crockery rather than the minimum. This apartment couldn't have been in a better location and spotless to boot..can't wait to book our next visit.

Beautiful Apartment, Stunning Views

This is possibly one of the best properties we have stayed in. Almost every room offers views across Weymouth Bay and beyond. The apartment is high end and very tastefully decorated, with a quality feel throughout. Although in a block of 7 apartments, we hardly saw anyone else and it was incredibly peaceful.

Although situated at the quieter end of the esplanade, you are only a 10 min walk to the main beach, however there is still plenty of 'people watching' to be done from the balconies of an evening.

The owners were great to deal with, answering any questions very promptly, with a very detailed welcome pack emailed through with all the information required on the property. Especially liked the little touches like a bottle of fizz, milk in the fridge and local biscuits on arrival.

We would highly recommend a stay a Watersedge.

We didn't want to leave this apartment as the property was so well situated, beautifully appointed and very clean.

We loved the sand sculpture exhibition which was just opposite and it was great to be able to walk along the prom into Weymouth.

Luxury facilities and beautiful scenery

The listing description was very accurate regarding the location, layout and facilities of the property, right facing the sea and the beach was easy accessible via the garden gate.

The property is excellently maintained to a high standard, very clean and well equipped. Loved all the extras that were included, wine, biscuits, tea, coffee etc,no need to take any cleaning products at all, they were all provided. Loved the layout of the property, plenty of space for everyone, giving privacy when needed.

Instructions on how to use the appliances were very clear and we made full use of everything within the property.

From the moment we entered the property we felt relaxed and comfortable.

The views from the property are stunning and we enjoyed the lovely walks along the promenade on a daily basis and also loved to watch the activity on the sea and beach from the property windows.

We did a spot of fishing right outside the property and it was entertaining to see a fishing match going on into the late evening. We also walked around the country park, which is opposite the property.

Most of our main meals of the day we ate in, but we loved the little bakery that served home made cakes and we did have two excellent meals at the restaurant opposite the front entrance to the property.

We would certainly recommend this property to family and friends,it has everything that you want in making a wonderful holiday. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle but near enough for you to walk to the main resort.

We will certainly book this place again,it accommodates the young and the old.

The owner provided good customer service whenever we had to communicate, The key arrived a week before we were due to leave exactly as promised and we received our deposit back within a few days of returning home.

There was nothing we disliked about this rental at all, many thanks to the owners for making our stay so relaxing and comfortable.

A well equiped, modern apartment.

Wow, this apartment was fantastic! It came with a high chair and cot which our 2 year old used, and the apartment came with some bits and bobs that were useful, toy train set, football, bucket and spade etc. The kitchen is fantastically well stocked, including small bowls and spoons etc. for the kiddies. There was a nice bottle of Jacobs Creek in the fridge and a pint of milk to go with the supplied tea bags and coffee - nice touch!

We only have a few minor observations...

- My wife would have preferred a full sized ironing board rather than the table top one that is supplied

- I couldn't find the handle for the grill pan, I am sure it's there somewhere but I couldn't find it!

- With two young kids, we did produce quite a bit of rubbish (nappies etc.) but only found 1 spare bin liner. There is a roll of bin liners in one of the drawers but my wife said they didn't fit the designer bin

- There's no wireless Internet, so my iPad was useless - in this day and age this is quite important, not necessarily for work but for looking up attractions. For instance, I looked up the web site for Lulworth Castle on my phone and was glad I checked because it said the cafe was closed - we were then able to take a packed lunch - we wouldn't have known if I hadn't checked. So WiFi would be a great addition.

We had no issues with the temperature, the back room felt quite cool but our 2 year old slept in there quite happily. We had the baby in with us so we never actually used the 3rd bedroom, although it would be great in future when both kids are in their own rooms.

So all in all, we couldn't have asked for any more, we much prefer staying in apartments rather than hotels/B&B's so we can come and go as we please.

The classic seaside resort of Weymouth has a superb blue flag sandy beach and one of the few working harbours left in the UK. With it's eclectic mix of old fashioned seaside charm and contemporary influences, it is perfect for families and couples alike. The seafront is connected by over three miles of level promenade and the views from the bay are spectacular, stretching across the horizon taking in the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline.

In addition to the beach, Weymouth is home to Lodmoor Country Park with its many attractions and amenities, including the Sea Life Park & Marine Sanctuary. In 2011, the UK's first sand sculpture park (Sandworld) opened there. Next door to this is Radipole Lake, the RSPB nature reserve. Also located in the surrounding area are Sharky's Adventure Play Zone and the Nothe Fort, a Victorian fortress with WWII memorabilia.

Other Activities: Crown green bowling, paddling pool/sandpit, beach entertainment in high season (e.g. pedalos, trampolines, Punch and Judy)
