Granary Cottage on Newstead Abbey Estate
Spacious and comfortable accommodation , well supplied with bathrooms ( 2 very large baths). Immediate access to fields and woodland. 15 minute walk to the Newstead Abbey grounds with its gardens and lakes. In the evenings very peaceful surroundings as public access is restricted. We were there for one week only and so not time to explore the evening performances of plays at the Abbey. During the day the Abbey tea rooms serves very good coffee and my grandaughter was particularly taken with the 'Biscoff Dream' milkshakes and sitting reading a book in the shade by the lake near the waterfall.
