Booked last minute due to change to our holiday, such a lucky find, Brendan and Jean greeted us on arrival, home made soda bread, wine, cheese, eggs, milk and posh chocolates awaited us. Wonderful place to relax and unwind.
Heaven on earth/ Coming Home.
We Gayle, Dennis and I loved the attention to details, the 2 loves of fresh bread the bottle of wine and the chocolate.Helping out Dennis with the car rental all over and above two caring folks and last but not least there was Syble. My only suggesting would be a larger sofa.
A perfect getaway. So quiet and peaceful.A top class self catering accommodation.
We had an unforgettable week here.Brendan and Jean made us very welcome and the starter pack which awaited us was the icing on the cake, especially Jean's home made bread.
The coach house was immaculate and contained everything we needed.
We went out every day and enjoyed touring the area especially the gardens nearby.
We would recommend this property to anyone : It was idyllic and of a very high standard. So very lucky with the weather too - wall to wall sunshine for the whole week.!
Immaculately presented with every conceivable extra supplied
Beautiful setting ideally situated for walks and exploring the area!
Brendan and Jean were very welcoming only too willing to provide
tips on the local area!
Only tip would be to provide a larger fridge otherwise a very enjoyable stay!
Beautiful cottage, beautiful setting, friendly and charming hosts.
First class! Five stars!
Delightful Cottage in beautiful quiet location
We had lovely time in the Coach House, thanks Jean and Brendan, for the warm welcome with a card bottle of wine Jeans homemade soda bread, butter eggs and milk etc, much appreciated.
The Coach House is set in delightful surroundings with superb views and only a short walk from the beautiful beach. For anyone keen on county walks this would be perfect ! The nearest pub a short drive away was very pleasant.Tescos Waterford 20 mins drive. Dunmore East delightful with several pubs, Spinnaker Bar a great little cafe, a small shop, and a restaurant which sold takeaway meals called the Lemon Tree, superb. Crook 15 mins drive and Passage East car ferry made visits to Hook a pleasure, it looks further than you think.
I have to say we loved the bed, one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on, this is so important and so often overlooked. Everything we needed was there for our use as described on the web site, superb.I would highly recommend this lovely property.
Many thanks Jean and Brendan
Thanks for your kind review,
Brendan & Jean
