Why Lynsey Hodgkinson chose Bourton-on-the-Water
We fell in love with Spring Cottage from the moment we walked in. It needed quite a lot of work but we knew it had potential. For a Cotswold cottage, it's a fairly large and it's so light and airy. It is in such a lovely location, being just a short stroll into the village, also it has a lovely south facing garden with direct access onto 'The Naight' which is a large playing field and park where Millie, our 3 year Westie can had a good run around. We especially love being able to walk into the village in the morning to get fresh bread and croissants from the bakery for breakfast. In the evenings we love to walk along the river and have a drink and sit outside one of the bars. The village takes on such a calm and peaceful atmosphere at the end of the day when most of the day visitors have headed home.
