We are a family with Cornish roots who love Porthtowan. We bought the Beach Cottage for the stunning views over the beach and coastline beyond. We furnished the house to a high standard with 1 to 2 families in mind, so you can have a relaxing holiday in Cornwall.

Property was ideal for our party of 9. only copmplaint was the blocked plughole in the main bathroom
We had a lovely holiday in a beautiful location with access to the beach. The view was breathtaking along the coast and the beach. We visited several places of interest. It was Suitable for all ages in our party. Only complaints were the a blocked plughole in the bathroom which prevented us using it. We did report it and were told a plumber would deal with it. but it was'nt dealt with before we came away.and no handrail at bottom of steps leading into the house, a hazard for elderly people. A beautiful house
Fantastic property! We loved it.
A gorgeous house with absolutely stunning views, especially from the decking. You can hear the waves from the house, fab to go to sleep to. Kitchen is really well equipped and the bathrooms are gorgeous too. Bedding and towels all great quality.
A comfortable cottage with wonderful views and direct access to the coast path and beach.
The star feature of the cottage is the enormous deck where we enjoyed our family meals and some stunning sunsets. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds and bedding were excellent. The wet rooms were all very modern and attractive. The lounge had plenty of room for the seven of us and and the tv projected onto a wall was a novel experience. Unfortunately, it was only possible to see the picture when it was dark outside, though this wasn’t too much of a problem for us as we mostly played card games with the children. Just a couple of small niggles - only two of the bedrooms had hanging space for clothes, and some of the windows were impossible to open.
Fantastic house for large family holiday with dog, well equipped, stunning views, fabulous weather!
Lovely house in perfect location. Comfortable and well equipped for extended family holiday. Absolutely stunning views from large deck and garden. Five minute walk down to the beach at Porthtowan, along the beach to Chapel Porth beach at low tide or along the South West Coast Path. A great holiday and fabulous weather all week!
Great cottage in amazing location
+ great location
+ absolutely stunning views
+ furnished beautifully and to high standard
+ lots of space
+ close to the coast path and the beach
Overall, highly recommended!
Absolutely stunning views, amazing walks on the cliffs. Perfect cottage for a quiet beach break.
My family and I have just returned from a weeks stay in Beach Cottage. The house is set on the top of the cliff in Porthtowan, the views are stunning and unspoilt. The walks on the cliffs are easily accessible by using the bridle path at the front of the house, you can walk for miles on these cliffs.
The house itself is large and well maintained. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are plentiful and perfectly clean. The kitchen is a large and social space with wonderful views of the beach. The lounge was large enough for the whole family (7) to sit in and spend time, the log burner was a joy to sit in front of when the snow came down!
Porthtowan itself is such a wonderful little village, the Blue Bar on the beach is a lovely place to spend time.
All in all we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay, we’re all very busy people in our day to day lives so to have the space, the views and the peace and quiet to recharge was absolutely wonderful.
Thank you Mark for letting us stay, we will definitely be back.
